Hi! I'm Megan Jones! I am an 8th grader going into high school in one week! I'll be going to Nashville West Campus High School. I am 14 and have the worlds most ANNOYING younger sister named Virginia. Ugh! She's only nine so I have to be nice >:( I also have a 25 year old sister who lives in Illinois. Her name is Carolina. Yes I know. I am the only child not named after a state. Anyway I don't talk to her much because she doesn't visit too often and I'm too busy with school. Ok so here's a bit 'bout me: I love dogs (pugs to be specific), I love my family, my BFF's Dunja, Savannah, Quinn, Mackenzie, and my guy friend Ben. Just to get this straight WE ARE NOT DATING! I know that most of you will have to ask so, I'll get rid of it now, I also love glitter, anything makeup related, clothes, movies, hanging with my BFF's, volleyball, and having fun! Oh and don't forget neon! Well, I have to go to volleyball! So bye! Or bikini as my friends always say!

Well, school has started! I made the school volleyball team! Not a shocker. Me and all my female BFF's! Yesterday, I went to the first high school football game of the season. It was pretty fun, but I had to drag along Virginia :( She was so embarrassing! My friends were all there! I am in marching band. Me and Ben are both trumpet players in it. So when I had to go perform, I shoved my sis off with Dunja and Quinn. I preformed and when I came back, my friend Eric was there watching my sis eat a HUGE wad of cotton candy, a large popcorn with extra butter, and a large Mountain Dew! I mean, who does that? Shes nine and needs to go to sleep somehow! So, I grabbed the food and beverage, and I tossed them into the trash. Eric looked surprised. I screamed at him! "WHY WOULD YOU GIVE A NINE YAER OLD GIRL THIS MUCH FOOD WITH ALL THIS SUGAR AND CAFFEINE? SHE HAS TO SLEEP! MY MOM IS GONNA KILL ME! LITERALLY!" He just stood there kind of stunned. Like I had just asked him to marry me or something. Then he told me that Dunja bought it for her, so I have her the same "HOW COULD YOU," schpeel after I apologized to Eric. She just looked stunned too and said that Virginia bought it herself. I was so mad at Virginia that I could have KILLED HER! But, I kept the mature, cool, calm face on. Virginia had to be picked up at 7:30pm for horse back riding in the morning. She had to go to bed, so it was just me and my friends! We laughed, talked, preformed, and then the game was over :( I went home with Ben because he is like my neighbor so, his dad drove me home. He lives one house down on the left side. I went home and went to bed. I wake up the next morning and my sister is sitting on my bedroom floor reading "Black Beauty" for the millionth time while my mom puts her hair up! I am like "um mom? Do you think you can do this somewhere else?" So my mom says "sorry but, I have to do it here, your sister's room is a disaster, and your dad is in the shower." I just walked out, and had some waffles. They were raspberry. And now, that's where I am so bye!

OMG OMG OMG! Now don't get all "Oooohh! She's got a boyfriend!" WE ARE JUST FRIENDS! Ok so at lunch yesterday, Ben asked me if we could talk in private. So I said sure. Then after lunch, we met next to the janitors closet by the gym. He pulled out a rose, and said "Will you go to the homecoming dance with me?" I tried my hardest to keep from going "SQUEE! OMG SHOOSH YEAH!" So I just blushed smiled and almost teared up and said " yeah. That would be awesome!" in a calm, mature way. Now guess what I get to do next weekend? GO DRESS SHOPPING WITH MY BFF'S! I feel bad though, they don't have.... a dude friend to hang with. I already made the rule of "No slow dances," pretty clear. He seemed a little sad 'bout it. So I told him if it was a nice song. I'm just too excited and tired from being excited. *Yawn* Bye!

Sept. 24, 2013

I got my dress! It's purple on top, purple glitter on bottom, and purple high heels! Ben got a tux and a purple tie that matches my dress PERFECTLY! I am so excited to go! The dance is in two days. So I have to wait. At school today, I saw Ben in the hall and he walked right up to me, gave me a pink box with a red bow on it, and told me to open it. How sweet! I opened it, and found a BEAUTIFUL lipgloss and hair clip that would match my dress perfectly! I smiled and stammered "th..th...thank you so much! They match my dress perfectly!" I went to go to class and he grabbed my arm, pulled me over to him, and kissed my right cheek! We just stood there, looking at each other blushing, staring, and blushing, and staring. Finally, the bell rang, so I had an excuse to leave that awkward moment. I went into chemistry, and Ben sat next to me. I totally forgot that we are lab partners! I was almost a sweating mess! Than god we were doing a lab so, I focused more on that. Then I went to grab the knife thingy, and so did Ben. Then he grabbed my hand. I looked up at him did a small laugh, and then took my hand out from under his. He handed me the knife thingy so I could cut open the frog. The cut had to be perfect and precise so you wouldn't cut the guts open. I didn't cut a single gut! Ben just smiled and told me that I cut open frogs like and angel. I don't really know if angels cut open frogs but, I thought it was a compliment. After that my day was just average I guess. Except for when I got home, my sister was sitting in the middle of the living room, staring at a piece of string that was wrapped around a piece of popcorn. I just walked in, sat on the couch, ate some pretzels, and watched Glee. The she stood up, walked over to the couch, and screamed "I WAS WATCHING THAT!" at me. What was she watching? The tv wasn't even on! I just held the remote as high in the air as I could, and watched her jump and scramble to try and get it. After her 3 second attention span expired, she just went to her room and listened to broadway music. My mom finally came home and drove me to Cloud High Volleyball (it's a club volleyball thing). It was fun. The practice is 3 1/2 hours long. I was pooped when it was over. So I went to bed.
