"Up and out kids."

A stern, deep voice awoke us from our sleep and a cold envelope landed on my stomach, jolting me up from laying down.

Opening my eyes, I saw the police officer from last night. He smiled slightly and pointed to the envelope.

"You're free to go, but sign this paper work."

Justin awoke as well, looking over my shoulder at the papers.

I then realized we had fallen asleep on the cold, marble bench in the lobby. My body began to regret it as a sharp pain arose from my back as I stood to my feet.

"Take a seat and I'll get you two something to drink."

He disappeared as I opened the envelope and we both sat at his desk.

The paperwork was simple. Until the bottom. It was letting us know that the care and undertaking of Justin's father would be farther handled by the state. Meaning he was in prison. The paper work also proved him guilty for the death of Justin's mother. They had been looking for him for years, he had even changed his name to hide himself.

I smiled and looked toward Justin who began smiling as well.

"Finally I can live my life." He shrugged.

"With me." I joked, patting his knee.

He nodded in agreement and the police officer walked in, sitting two white plastic cups of water in front of us.

I signed and so did Justin at the bottom and we closed the envelope handing it to the man.

"You two go on about your days now. I realize how much trouble and harm one can cause. I'm sorry. Take care."

Me and Justin stood up, thanking him and walked out the door.

As I was walking, Justin kept his distance from me until we walked along the sidewalk behind the police department.

All of a sudden I felt him push me again the wall and his smirk grew bigger and bigger as he kissed me passionately. I smiled through the he kiss and played with the ends of his hair.

"I love you so much." He said, pulling away for air.

He kissed me again then pulled away interlocking our fingers.

I pulled out my phone, calling a taxi.

"Let's just go on a date! I've never taken a girl on a date before and I would love to take you on one please." He said, holding both my hands firmly.

For the first time in weeks, his eyes actually sparkled. He felt free and happy. His brown eyes weren't red and sad anymore.

I was taken back by his words. He had never been on a date before. He was so polite and everything, he had never done it before? I was surprised he had never been in a relationship. Girls look at him all the time but I knew what he wanted. Someone who would accept him for him. And love him despite his crappy life. And that's just what I did.

I felt like a 12 year old as I blushed and my stomach turned. He smirked and I nodded.

"Of course bieber." I smiled, standing and grabbing his face to kiss him again.

Our taxi arrived moments later and we hopped in, going back to my house. Me and Justin both agreed to stay home and chill instead of a date. He begged to watch a zombie movie again and I gave in, sitting beside him on my couch.

The movie began and he was already holding my hand.

He sighed and closed his eyes, still smiling.

"I'm so happy. For the first time, I feel like I can be myself around someone. No worries, just me and my girl."

My stomach jumped when he said 'my girl' . He knew exactly what he was doing to me.

I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder.

"I couldn't ask for a more humble, strong, down to earth friend. I've never met someone like you. I've risked so much for you, and I don't regret an inch of it."

He smiled and kissed my head.

"I've still never heard you sing. Ya know, for someone who's interested in going to UCLA you shouldn't have stage fright."

I giggled and rose up, sitting criss cross.

"What do you want me to sing?"

His eyes wandered the room, and then his bright smile lit up the room.

"Sing me something you wrote." He shrugged, biting his lip.

Oh my gosh, this boy.

I sighed and thought for a moment then remembered a song I had wrote when sending in my application for the college.

"If I could find a way, to make everything okay. I would put my heart aside and my life on the line.

Never have I felt anything like this.

You keep me happy and I'm happy we're together now. You're mine and no one else's. Take my hand, let me love you the way I can."

I finish the single verse and he gasps.

Stroking my hair and smiling brightly.

"You're voice is literal gold, baby."

My cheeks get hot and I blush before looking down, only for him to raise my chin back up with his index finger.

"Don't hide from me," he chuckles.

He brushes my cheek and leans in, then kisses me.

"You're so amazing Tyler." He whispers, our foreheads touching.

I breathe in, smelling his calogne and smiling.

He tucks his arms beneath me, pulling me tightly into his warm chest. I rest my head on his chest, watching the movie that was still playing.

"Love you." He whispers.

"Love you Justin." I coo.
