Sarah's POV:
"I'm coming!" I called out to an impatient Kelsey, grabbing my bag and lunch. She was waiting anxiously in her car.
"We're going to be late. AGAIN!" She shrieked, tapping the wheel in frustration.
I ran through the door, locked it, jumped in Kelsey's car, and buckled up in a record of 8 seconds.
I didn't even get to closing my door before Kelsey stomped on the gas, nearly giving me a stroke in the process.
"Hey Sarah," Kelsey said "I understand that I'm your best friend and all... but, what the hell are you wearing?"
I glanced down, and surprise sur-freaking-prize I was wearing my pj's.
"SHIT!" I yelled in horror "We gotta go back!"
"Ohhh no. Sorry not sorry, but I am not getting skinned today for being a half an hour late."
"I'll only take a second!" I pleaded with my best puppy dog eyes.
"Sorry bear, I'm not going back. I've got an outfit stashed in my locker though, you can borrow it for today."
Kelsey and I got into school and went to class. We were the last people in. Mr. Brushett had a troubled look on his face as well as the other students.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"We're sorry that we're late!" Kelsey whined.
No one answered. They just stared.
Mr. Brushett took me and Kelsey out in the hallway. He said something I couldn't believe. I walked into class with my eyes locked on the floor. Kelsey did the same.
"Welcome to hell." Mr. Brushett said faintly."Welcome to hell."
