Chapter 1

Mereideth Pov.

"Mom I don't want to audition" i said

"But sweetie you would have to be stupid not to accept you onto the show your an amazing singer!" My mom said

"Mom I'm not going" I said

"Oh yes you are" mom said

"No I'm not" I said

"Sweetie come on what is there to loose if you don't get on the show then you go back to your normal life but if you do go through you could become a superstar so your not gonna loose anything but honey you could gain so much!" mom said

At audition*

"Mereideth your up next" the director old me.

I'm so nervous I can't see straight what if I mess up what if I miss the lyrics....

Mereideth your up.

"Hello what's your name"simon asked me

"Mereideth" I said

"What will you be singing?" Simon asked

"Thousand years by Christiana Perri" I said

"Okay you may go ahead" simon said

So I began to sing.

" heart beats fast colors and promises how to be brave how can I love when I'm afraid to fall watching you stand alone all of my doubts suddenly go away some how one step closer I have died everyday waiting for you darling don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years I love you for a thousand more" I sang

When I looked up all the judges where at there feet except one... simon.

"Man girl you have vocals you deserve a spot on the show" first judge said

" you came on this stage and showed us what you are made off and stood your ground I think you deserve a spot as we'll" second judge said

"Your were a little pitchy but you have amazing vocals but are they enough to be on the show." Simon said

"Mereideth I am sending you.........
