"We are best friend, aren't we? Ryan." Sean slid in the chair beside Ryan which Dom had left after filming the "Reacting to old videos" with his best friend Ryan. Oh well, best friend Ryan. He repeated, the words washed over him in an uncomfortable way, floating lots of questions in his mind, like: Damn, does Ryan considering him as his best friend? And what Sean means is The Best Friend who has a special position in his heart, whatever happens, whoever he meets in the future, he still there on that particular unique position.

Sean did that. Ryan held a special place in his heart. But, Has Ryan done the same?

He tried to keep his questions at bay but after a few minutes scrolling down his instagram feeds and staring blankly at lamps' cute edits which strangely didn't make him smile like an idiot today, he guessed it might be a good idea to not keep it to himself. So he's here, gazes locking at Ryan, either hands on his knees, looking all but serious and solemn.

Ryan took a long swallow before letting out laughter, pleased. "Damn, Sean. After all this time, now you come to ask me?"

Sean raised up his eyebrow, "Is this funny to you?"

"Well, not really. But, seriously? Sean, I won't ask you to come back to me if we aren't best best friend."

"Yeah... You also asked Dom, Chester and Kev to come back and make video with you. And you said they don't because they got their own stuff to do. And I'm here now because I don't really want to make my own channel except staying by your side which is the best idea I could've that time." Sean snorted, absentmindedly feeling himself like an immature and overreacting kid. Damn! He felt bad for what he'd said... Screw his feeling, he wouldn't give up until he got a proper answer from Ryan He Swear.

"That's the truth." Ryan set down his energy drink.

Sean grunted impatiently, leaned closer to Ryan with a hope to get this thing straight out as soon as possible.

"See Ryan. We are friend like how many years already. Ten years to be precise if not more. You know my secret...... well not all but most, and I know yours as well. Can't you just, i don't know, like positioning me at a more unique place in your heart. 'kay, I don't really mean unique you know. Derrick, Greg, Will, I knew they are your best friends too. Dom and Chester, goddamn it, Ryan you surely have lots of friends." The more words he spit out, the more unconfident he felt of himself.

Come to think, he knew most his friends from Ryan, Ryan is the one widening his world, he wouldn't find out how much he love to be surrounded by lamps and RHPC if not of Ryan, to enjoy the happiness and warmth flowing down his capillaries to the very end, to stuck in RHPC and having the best job ever.

He sounded stupid, didn't he?

He stared wide-eyed at Ryan and his Best Friend back at him, a small smile tucking on his face. And then Sean's long fingers reach out to pull Ryan closer towards him, the latter followed the movement unthinkably as if curious to see what Sean's next move, his eyes growing with confidence, tenderness and deliberation.

Such an ego. Sean thought, biting his lips for a fraction of second, figuring the best way to put startle and astonish in those engaging eyes.

And this explained why he pressed his lips hard on Ryan's, a chaste and innocent kiss before either of them(Sean was becoming lightheaded to think who started it first) stuck out his tongue and slick it into other's mouth, instinctively another tongue joined the game. Ryan tasted of energy drink and taco bell they ate earlier, he tentatively brushed over Ryan's roof of mouth to taste more of it, Ryan growled at the back of his throat, holding a protective arms around his waist. A hint of pleasure and greedy stuttered between their short and hot breathe when they broke the oh-so-arousing kiss.

Ryan pressed his forehead on his, with Sean's fingers curling into his, until the familiar scent calming them back to their sane. To the reality.

"Oh..." Sean let out a weak whimper. The memory started to set back in his brain and his shoulder grew tenser with seconds, the anxiety gobbled him up like an enormous monster or say he himself was laying out a few plans to take suicide.

Sean. Sean. WHat The Fuck You've Just DOne! Every of his organs were screaming like hell, torturing his mind like a hammer smashing thing around in his head and he doubted he could ever fixed those shattered shards back to normal. The awkwardness slipped between them.

And Sean knew he pretty much messed up his already-not-so-good-but-now-worse-Saturday.

"Uhm. Uhm." He stood up, landing his eyes on the chair, the energy drinks, the messy bad, except Ryan who has his eyes on him. He found he's too scared to look at the hate or stern rebuke in his eyes. Oh you could fix that. He more likely has a pathetic look as Ryan opening his mouth to say something and Sean had to raise his voice to cover what Ryan might say to him.

"I... Ugh, have to go. Have a nice sleep, Ryan." Then he burst out of room like a bullet.

He saw Greg along his way but he didn't bother slowing down to greet him. Ryan had enjoyed the kiss, right? Right? Damn. He knew how he looked like now.

A fresh juicy tomato.
