Looking across from me, I could see Harry's curls clearly, bouncing slightly as he pinned Jack against the wall and threw punches at his face. My heart caught in my throat as I watched the scene unravel before me, blood running down my ex-boyfriend's face. I could see he tried to fight back, but was too weak and he probably couldn't see a thing anyway.

" That's not how you treat a fucking lady, dickhead." Harry yelled through clenched teeth, looking absolutely intimidating.

Finally, something clicked inside me.

" Harry, Harry stop. You're gonna be the one getting in trouble. Calm down. Come on." I grabbed onto his bulging biceps, then sliding, or attempting to slide my hands up and down his arms as he was still attacking Jack.

His breathing slowly returned to normal as he turned and looked at me, his eyes softening. Oh god, those green irises. They were so wonderful. I spoke a quiet 'come on ' and half dragged him through the back door of the club. When we got to the middle of an alleyway, I turned my heel so he was against the wall with me across from him. We just looked at each other for a minute, my hands on his heaving chest, in a feeble attempt to calm him.

" Thank you. " I said quietly, finally breaking the silence.

" No problem. " He breathed, lips parted. I broke eye contact first and grabbed his hands, inspecting his knuckles. The skin was scraped off, flesh showing. Blood ran down the back of his hand, and the skin left around his wounds was pale. My heart clenched at the sight, and out of the corner of my eye, I could see him wince.

" Do you wanna come back to my apartment? I could clean up your wounds." I asked gingerly, secretly hoping he would say yes.

" I can't. The paparazzi will find out." He said, and my heart dropped. Of course, he would be embarrassed to be seen with a common girl like me.

" Oh. "

I started to turn and walk away, but as soon as I took two steps, his large hand closed gently but firmly around my wrist, pulling me back to him.

" It's not that I'm embarrassed to be seen with you. You don't know how some fans can be about this stuff. If they catch me stepping into your flat, they will find you and just might kill you." His raspy voice spoke to me, he read my mind.

" Okay. " I said quietly, feeling a bit foolish.

" Well, uh, thanks again for tonight. " I added, and began to walk away.

" Wait! How will you get home? "

" My friend is waiting for me in the club. I'll be fine. "

Two and a half hours later, I was still in the club, "fine". I couldn't find Kelly anywhere, and it was seriously pissing me off. After another lap around the club in a pathetic attempt to find her, I gave up and went to the bar. I ordered myself a drink, and sat down at the bar stool. I turned my back for a second, looking around the dance floor and hoping to see Kelly. I thought I saw a figure slipping into the crowd, but I just shrugged it off and turned back to my drink. I took a few sips, suddenly finding myself very thirsty. After a few more sips, I got up off my seat. Woah. I started to swerve a bit, and stumble in my heels, which seemed much higher now. I don't think I had enough drinks to feel this woozy. I started tipping over. The people on the dance floor were now just fuzzy silouhettes. Soon, I feel to the floor, my hands meeting the cool tiles saving me from some really bad damage. My brain was a jumbled mess, I wasn't able to think, not able to do. I was numb, with nothing to jolt me awake from this terrible frozen state.

UNKNOWN POV

I leaned against a wall, drink in hand, watching the naive little girl struggle to get to her feet. When she completely tipped over, her head banging against the checkered tiled floor, I walked over. The bartender had noticed her too, stalking over to her. I crouched down, feigning concern.

" Shes my girlfriend, " I said to the burly bartender, " I was in the bathroom. "

He gave a nod and walked off. Idiot.

DELLAS POV

My eyes opened to bright sunlight, and I found stickiness covering my mouth. I couldn't remember a thing, my mind was blank. The only memory I had was Harry saving me from Jack. I tried to move, and realized I was duct taped to the wall.

What the actual fuck?!

Was that even possible? But here I was - probably hundreds of strips of duct tape kept me pressed to the rough wall. I finally got over this, and started taking in my surroundings. I realized shortly that this was the rooftop of my apartment building. Odd.

Seconds. Minutes passed and nobody came. But after what seemed like eternity, the door to the roof opened and a figure walked through.

Jack.
