"Nero!", Nero heard Lillian scream and quickly moved out of the way. Lillian sighed heavily seeing Nero was alright and charged at Berial as fast as she could, grabbing her gun Artemis and charging up her demonic energy and firing a shot. It barely did any damage as Berial sung his sword at her, causing Nero to jump and move her out of the way. "How can we stop a fire demon like this guy?", Nero asked. Lillian thought about it for a few seconds and said, "We cool him down. I'll try to absorb as much fire as I can while you attack him" "Sounds like a good plan", Nero readied Red Queen as they charged at him. Berial formed a fireball and slammed it into the ground and in seconds, the ground underneath Nero was forming lava and he quickly moved away until Lillian leaped into the air to distract Berial. Her fist reared back as flames began to cover it but from what Nero could tell, it wasn't hurting her. No burn marks, nothing.

Lillian let out a roaring battle cry and slammed the fist into Berial, making good time for Nero to get his right arm ready, and once Berial tried to swat her away after her punch, he swung his arm upwards as hard as he could, and no sooner than that, the flames were gone. "Your arm", Berial exclaimed, "You are not human" "Don't ask", Nero said, "Though the damn thing drives me crazy" Berial looked at Lillian as he spoke, "You are just like he was" 'He? Could he be referring to...?', Lillian thought as Nero spoke, "And 'He' would be...?" "I must restore my powers", Berial said to himself before roaring. As he roared flames spouted all around him and using the flames to get back though the Hell Gate and it closed behind him. Nero was confused by the fact it ran off. He had never known a demon to run away with its tail tucked between its legs before, but at least he had one less to worry about. "So, how much trouble are you gonna be in for this?", Lillian asked as the two surveyed the damage. Nero groaned as he rolled his eyes and said, "Who knows, but you're sharing the blame"

Lillian merely shrugged her shoulders as they walked on into a mine. "How did you do that?", Nero asked suddenly, "The thing with the fire" "I was born with the power to control fire", Lillian explained, "I'm what you call a Phoenix" "The bird that combusts and rises from its own ashes?", Nero asked surprised, "You don't look like a bird" "That's mostly because I'm also human", Lillian snapped as she smirked. The two kept on walking and with the help of Nero's arm they ventured onward to Fortuna Castle, only to be met with a blizzard, making Lillian sneeze loudly. "Are you alright?", Nero looked at her concerned. "D-does it l-look like I'm ok-okay?", Lillian glared at him, "L-look at my outfit. I-it's not meant for winter. If I had known the castle was in the tundra, I would've worn some pants and a coat"

Nero let out a small laugh as the two walked on before saying, "Don't worry. We're almost there" As if by some irony, the blizzard stopped and in the clearing was Fortuna Castle. The two walked on when the ground suddenly moved as they both looked to see a tower falling apart. Nero and Lillian fell onto some snow as the rubble crashed behind them, causing the two to dust off any rubble and snow as the sound of hissing got Nero's attention. "Frost demons", Nero mumbled as the demons came close to them. "I got this", Lillian said as she leaped into the air. Her arms covered in flames as she drew her sword. The flames moving onto the blade as the sliced one into two. The other two stood frozen in shock for a moment before attacking the young woman, only to be stopped by Nero as he used his right arm, swinging one around and slamming it into the other, causing Lillian to stab them both and set them on fire, burning them to death. "Ah", Lillian said after taking a deep breath, "I love the smell of roasted demon in the evening" Nero smirked at her as she turned to him and asked, "So, how'd you get that arm?" Nero's smirk vanished no sooner then she asked it, causing the young man to hesitate before he said, "I was protecting Kyrie when I got it. We were ambushed by some demons. I heard this voice calling out to me and then this arm came forth. I was afraid of what Kyrie and the others would say if they ever found out, so I stuck myself with a cast over it. That is, until that man in the red coat came. He told me that we're the same, but I carried something different from the others"
