A breeze blows across the clearing in front of the majestic, towering gates of Ashia Academy... actually; it was the academy's female dorms. Still, they were beautiful, standing at thirty feet in height, made of polished bronze that shone in the light of the rising sun.
A sixteen year old brunette gazes at them with awe, her hair fluttering in the wind. The girl's name was Elisa Gates, a new transfer student to this prestigious school. The girl was fairly tall, at five feet six inches, and had tan skin. She wore a pink-purple tank top, and a white skirt, with a black belt that held two metal tonfas.
Behind her was a white limo, the vehicle that brought her to the school, provided by her parents. She nods to the driver through the wound down window. He nods back, his face set like stone. It was something she was used to as everyone that worked for her family was like a robot, always maintaining an expressionless visage and speaking only when spoken to. It was all part of her father's 'Discipline.'
Turning back to the school, Elisa lets a smile come to her face. By tomorrow, she would finally be free from all that. Ashia Academy was a world renowned school, with the highest quality facilities, the best teachers, and the campus was the size of a small town. Not to mention that city it was located in was, as well, owned by the head mistress as well. In other words, everything could possibly need on the grounds, and the only restrictions to movements were the infrequent curfew and the nearly non-existent monster attack.
Pulling her luggage behind her, the brunette proceeds towards the gates, eager to settle down after a long journey. The walk there was fairly uneventful. There were very few students on campus since she arrived a day to the set date, and none of them seemed to be out at the time. Just the large circular field encompassing the several story, hotel-like dorm building.
In a few minutes, she finds herself at the reception to the dormitory. "How may I help you?" the receptionist asks perkily, seemingly wide awake despite the time. She was a pink-haired girl, wearing a form-fitting pink top, and a blue skirt. She had purple eyes, and was in the middle of applying pink nail polish.
The first thing Elisa thought when she saw her was that she was one of those people who were more concerned with their appearance that their training. However, since she was working even though she looked to be a student, it would mean she was a third year, her senior. They were the only ones given odd jobs like this within the school.
I guess she must be at least decent, since she's still here. The brunette thought to herself as she spoke. "Excuse me, my name's Elisa Gates, one of the new transfer students here." she introduces herself. "Could you help me find my room? The invitation instructed me to come to the receptionist as soon as I got here."
The pinkette looked up from her... whatever it was she was doing on her computer, and seemed to stare at her for a moment, but Elisa didn't really find anything strange about it. It was normal to size up potential opponents after all so staring at others and having others staring at her was nothing new to her
Elisa did find it strange, however, when the receptionist looked her in the eye. A chill went down her spine, before going up it again, and she felt strangely like her entire life was being read like an open book. The sensation faded as the other girl looked back down at her computer. It was almost as if it never happened.
The receptionist nodded to herself for some reason, before finally replying. "Yeah, I can help you." She answered, fingers flying across her keyboard. "But, you're kinda early; none of the others have even arrived." She said, making the brunette preen. Apparently that was what the younger girl was going for.
