Chapter 7-Getting Familiar

"Anna? Are you okay?Were you crying?"Kirsten asked walking in the room.

"No, I'm fine. I was just thinking about everything that has been going on the past year. So much has happened. So is that all for the gifts, because if there are more I might go insane, speaking I already got gifts from everyone at the babyshower," I replied to Kirsten.

"But see, those gifts were for the babies. But a bunch of our friends sent over gifts for you, oh and they are on their way over if thats okay. I already told them they can only stay until 4:30, and it is 3 oclock right now."

"Oh jeez. Who's all coming?"I asked, kindof regretting letting Kirsten control who could come visit.

"Um, lets see. I know for sure that Kayla, Megan, Lexi, and Cortney are coming. I think Ethan, Brandon, and Blake were gonna try and come see you too," Kirsten answered.

"Shit. I am perfectly fine with Kayla, Megan, Lexi, and Cort seeing me like this but I am not in the mood for Ethan, Brandon, and Blake to make fun of me, because you know they would," I said with a half smile, half frown look on my face.

"Oh don't worry about it. If they say a word I'm sure Beau wouldn't mind roughin them up a little bit." Kirsten replied.

"I might do that myself," I said as Ella started crying. "Hey, do me a favor and hold Ella for a little bit?"I asked Kirsten.

"No problem, Kayla just texted me. They are on their way up, so brace yourself."Kirsten warned.

"Okay," I replied, picking up Clarissa out of her crib. I'm pretty sure she needs to eat, but they have her on the hospital formula so the nurse is the only one who has formula for the girls to eat. I pushed the button to let the nurse know that the girls need to eat. The nurse walked in the door with two little bottles full of formula.

"I hear the two little angels need to eat?" Nancy, the nurse, asked.

"Yeah, Clarissa looks a little pale and she is really tired so I thought she might want to eat and I figured that Ella should eat since you were going to be making formula anyway," I replied.

"Okay, do you want me to feed Ella since you already have Clarissa?" Nancy asked.

"Yeah, that would be great!"I exclaimed tiredly. "But do you mind waiting in the hall for a couple minutes. A few of my friends were coming up and I was wondering if you could tell them to turn off their phone sounds and be quiet when they come in?"

"Sure, thats fine with me. Is there anything else you need Ms. Marshall?"Nancy asked.

"No, thats all, thank you." I replied as Nancy handed me Clarissa's bottle and set the other one on the table. I sat there for the next five minutes feeding Clarissa and just looking at her innocent face. She was so tiny and I didn't think I could love something so tiny so much. And Ella, she had the sweetest little face, exactly like her daddy's. She has the cutest little smile or smirk when she sleeps. I already know that she is going to be our troublesome girl because she is so innocent now. By the time I was done thinking about that I looked up to see Kayla, Megan, Lexi, and Cort looking at me.

"Omigod, hi!How are you?"Megan whisper-yelled.

"MEGAN!" I whisper-yelled back. "I'm good, just really tired."

"Aww. Anna, the girls are so cute. What are their names?" Kayla asked, looking at Ella.

"Well, the little one laying in the crib is Gabriella Lynn, Ella for short. And this little girl here in my arms is Clarissa Renee. Beau and I didn't name either of them after anyone special. We both came up with names we like and then compromised." I replied, explaining to them where the names came from.

"Aw, they are so precious," Cortney said, smiling at Ella.

"So how are you feeling?"Lexi asked.

"I'm feeling fine. I'm really tired, but I've also been up all night with the girls because Beau is down the hall crippled to his bed."I replied.

"Omigosh, what'd he do?" Cort asked.

"Some drunk guy hit him last night when he was on his way back to my house. He has a mild concusion and a muscle in his le ripped off his bone so he was taken into surgery last night. So while he was in surgery I went into labor. He wasn't able to come see the girls until this morning. And since I had a C-section I'm gonna be somewhat bedridden when I get home so I'm making him stay down the hall and get some rest so that he can do some work when we get home."I explained.

"Jeez, you guys are gonna have your hands full!"Cort replied giggling.

"Yeah, if you need any help, let me know. It gives me more time to spend with one of my best friends and I get to miss school as a plus!"Kayla exclaimed, "and of course I get to get to know these two little babies."

"Me too. I would love to help!"Megan said earnestly.

"You guys can all help. But the first couple days I wanna get into the swing of things at home. Obviously my mom and dad will be there, but they are going to work. They are at home right now getting my room and everything ready for when we all come home."I explained.

"Sounds good to all of us."Cort said.

"Uhhh, Anna. Blake and Ethan are on their way up. Brandon isn't coming."Kirsten informed me.
