I couldn't sleep all night. The thoughts of going on a date with Cameron didn't let me get rest, I was up thinking how bad or good it could go. Like c'mon he's a handsome guy, why would he want to go on a date with me? Yes I know he messed up with me, but I don't like the idea of him thinking that by taking me out on a date it's gonna be all good. Oh well I guess we'll find out once he comes to pick me up. By the time I get my thoughts cleared up and get done getting ready, I go to the living room to find a serious looking Bella.
"Hi Ave, I need to talk to you" she said. "About?" I asked. "Well actually I just wanted to wish you luck on your date" she winked at me and I just laughed. "Its not a date, trust me we're just hanging out" by the time I said that there was a knock on the door.
As soon as I opened the door, there stood a good looking Cam. "Goodmorning Avery" he said. "Goodmorning Cameron, would you like to go?" "Yeah c'mon" and with that we were on our way. When we got to his car he opened the door for me, which I found sweet. On our way to wherever we were going we were quiet.
It turns out Cameron wanted to keep it as simple as possible. He took me to a small cafe, I could tell it was old, but it was nice and it made me feel welcomed. "So Avery, we didn't just come for coffee, we're gonna have a nice breakfast okay?" he asked "Yeah, okay" that's all I could say. A young waitress she couldn't be older than 18, came and took our orders. But I did notice her having her eyes all over Cameron, I don't know why but it bothered me. When she came to drop off our order she winked at Cameron, but I noticed he didn't even glance at her, which made me really glad for a unknown reason. "So Avery, how is your morning so far?" he asked me. "It's been good so far, yours?" I asked. "It's been amazing, even though we still haven't talked that much" he joked. "Well how about after this we go for a walk?" I asked him , which i don't know why i did. "Yeah I love that idea, but for now lets finish our food" so we ended up finishing our food which I tried to pay for , but Cameron being the gentleman he is didn't let me pay for it.
We went to a park close by and just started walking. "So avery I really hope that this is helping you see me for who I really am" he said, "yeah Cameron I can tell you're a really nice guy, it sucks we started things in bad terms" I laughed. We continued walking for another hour, "Hey avery, I know this is super early, but I wanted to know if we could go on a second date" he asked me. I was about to answer his question when we ended up bumping with his friends. "Oh hey guys!" Cameron greeted his friends. "Hi Cam so umm we need to tell you something" they looked at me. "I'll be back Ave's" he went to talk to his friends and i saw them screaming before coming back to me. "So Avery I really have to go , but I just wanted to let you know I had a great time. I'm sorry I have to end this date". On my way back home I kept wondering what had happened and why he had to end the date. I couldn't find answers all I knew is I had a great time and couldn't wait to tell Cameron I was up for a second date.
