Chapter 9

I can't believe that Nate has a beach house this nice. This is the nicest beach house I have ever seen. I was just staring until Nate stood in front of me.

"You like it?"
"It's beautiful, how did you find this?"
"I know someone, if you like the outside then you will definitely like the inside. Wanna head in?"
"Yeah, sure."

Nate grabbed my hand and went to the front door and unlocked it. When I walked in I was in complete shock, it was beautiful. The kitchen was big and marble, there was a big white couch in the living room. There was a flat screen tv and the view from the balcony was just amazing. You got a perfect look at the beach from here and I wanted to stay here forever.

"This is just amazing Nate, I wish I could stay here."
"Why can't you?"
"I'm only here for a week or more, then I'm heading back to L.A."
"Oh."
"Yeah, I'm sorry that I have to leave you while I'm just getting to know you personally."
"It's fine, I understand. You're still in school and you have your family there." He said sadly.
"Don't be sad Nate! I'm still here for a week and maybe a little more. And when I leave, we can text each other, we can FaceTime and call each other."
"I know, it's just that I won't want you to leave."
"I know Nate, but I'm here for now. You can hang out with me and the guys later on today if you want."
"I would like to hang out with you only."
"We can still do that, but let's hang with the guys for about one hour then we can hang out, okay?"
"Okay."

He pulled me into a hug, when he let go we went to the kitchen to get some food. On the way to the kitchen my phone vibrated, I looked at it and saw I had a message from Gray.

Gray 😘: WHERE ARE YOU?!
Me: Don't worry! I'm hanging out with Nate!
Gray 😘: AT 3 IN THE MORNING?!
Me: YES! Don't worry Grayyyy! I'm at his beach house eating food.
Gray 😘: Be careful with him, he never brings any girls over there unless he wants to do something...
Me: Gray! I just met him! I don't think that would happen... EVER!
Gray 😘: I know but still, be careful. I care about you and I don't want you to get hurt by him.
Me: Thanks boo ❤️ but I don't think he would hurt me, I think he might like me.
Gray 😘: Still, be careful... Please?
Me: Okay, I'll be back around 5 cause I'm not gonna spend the night here.
Gray 😘: Okay, love ya Lea!!
Me: Love ya too Grayyy!

When we were finished eating we went into the balcony and watched the small waves. Two hours went by and it was time for me to leave. If I stayed any longer I wouldn't want to leave ever.

"Nate?"
"Yes babe?"
"Can you drive me back to the hotel?"
"Yeah, but don't you wanna stay?"
"Of course I do but if I stay I won't ever want to leave."
"Okay, let's go."
"Okay."

We went to his motorcycle and he blasted music from his speakers again. When we got to the hotel he walked me up to the room.

"I hope we can hangout like this again one day."
"We will, I know we will Nate."
"Okay, go get some rest since I kept you up since 2:30 or 3 this morning."
"Alright, bye Nate."
"Bye babe." He said while hugging me tightly.

I walked into the room and saw that Grayson was awake on his phone. I walked over to the bed and jumped on him.

"Heyyyy Gray!"
"Hey Lea! You seem happy, what did he do?"
"Nothing, his beach house is REALLY nice!"
"I bet."
"Why are you still awake Gray?"
"Eth got tired cause he was gonna stay up and wait for you so I waited while he slept."
"That's nice of you but you didn't have to stay awake."
"Yeah I did, and you allow Nate to call you 'babe'?"
"I don't mind and we are only friends. It's not like we are dating."
"He wants to date you though Lea."
"How do you know?"
"I can tell, you can't date him cause I know someone that likes you and Nate will end up hurting you."
"Who likes me? And Nate would never hurt me."
"Okay, whatever you say."
"Who likes me?"
"Eth."

After he said Eth I got up and ran out the door and went to the lobby. When I was at the lobby I ran outside, luckily Nate didn't leave yet.

"Nate!"
"Yeah?"
"Can we go for a ride?"
"Sure babe, come on. Where do you want..."
"Lea?!" I turned around and saw Gray.
"What?"
"Why did you run out like that?"
"I need time to process what you told me."
"Okay but don't leave to go back home."
"I won't, I just need to go on a ride then I will come back, I promise."
"Okay, I trust you."

I got on the back of Nate's motorcycle and we left. When we stopped at a red light he asked what was wrong.

"I will tell you later, can we go to the park, I will tell you there."
"Okay."

The light turned green and he drove us to the park, we went and sat on a bench. When he sat down I put my legs up across his legs.

"Babe? What's wrong? Did Gray do something to you?"
"No, Gray didn't do anything to me. It's something he told me."
"What did he say?"
"He told me that Eth likes me."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Do you like him back?"
"I honestly don't know, I told myself before that I did. Now, I don't know, he is a sweet guy, very good looking, and always nice but I don't deserve him."
"Of course you deserve him Lea, he really seems to like you. Maybe you should give it a try."
"But I never had a boyfriend, there was a boy that I liked but he tried to... Yeah, ever since then I never tried to like anyone until these amazing boys came into my life and made me happy."
"Wait, did you say that a boy tried to rape you?!"
"Yeah, his name is Daniel, he texted me last night. I told him to never contact me again. He hasn't since then, but he said if I don't go back he will personally find me and make me happy with him. That's what I'm afraid of, him finding and taking me."
"Where does Daniel..."
"Did I hear my name?"

I froze and so did Nate, I know that voice and my nightmare just came true. Daniel found me, and he won't leave without a fight for me.
