Chapter 1: Destin High

I hope you enjoy the first chapter to the story and tell me what you think in the comments. Every character was born in 2000, (so I can do math easily), and the book takes place in 2016. Hope you enjoy!

Alex POV
"Hey guys! How was your vacation?" I exclaimed. We just had summer vacation! It is the first day of Junior year!
"Really good! I went to Disney World!" Tasmine exclaimed.
"Again?" Said Sam.
"Come on, I think it's cool."Ashlee replied.
"Haha. Anyway, Sam, Ashlee, what did you guys do this summer?" I asked them.
"Camp." Sam breathed heavily. Every summer, she went to Fairy woods sleepover camp. I could tell she was getting sick of it.
"The dogs, gram, and I went to a two week long dog training thing and then we went camping." Ashlee smiled. Suddenly, a school bell rang rang in our ears.
"I certainly missed that bell, and the hearing loss that comes with it." Sam muttered sarcastically. Suddenly, someone sprinted over from the door. She hugged the Sam who came out of it with the ferociousness of 1000 lions. I strained to see who it was.
"SAGE!" Sam spoke. Ohhhh Sage. Cool!
"Hey Sage! What did you do over the summer?" I inquired.
"Hey Alex! Hey guys!" Sage let go of Sam, continuing to talk. "Anyways, to answer your question, I didn't do much. Just-"
"Students! Get to class!" Mrs. Kayrle yakked. Okay Okay jeez. As we walked up to class, we kept talking.
"But seriously, I missed you guys. I don't think I could live without you."I remarked
"Yeah. Me too. Hey, I've been wondering. What would've happened if we hadn't met?" Sage said.
"I've been wondering that too,"Tasmine related.
"I have been thinking about that and actually wrote my idea down. Let me take out my sketch pad." I spoke, reaching into my bag.
"Why did you write your story in a sketch pad?" Sam asked. I rolled my eyes.
"BECAUSE I CAN!!! AND IM TOO LAZY TO BUY A NOTEBOOK!!!!"
"Cool! Read it! Read it!" Tasmine marveled.
"Ok.. So..."
