Once upon a time, a fair skinned maiden with hazel eyes was wandering through the woods in search of discovering the world through her own eyes, by making her own mistakes. During her search, Snow White's path was crossed by a furry, brown chipmunk.
"Watcha looking at toots? Ain't ya ever seen someone walking before?" The chipmunk asks. He pulls an acorn out of his cheek. He sits back on his haunches, staring at Snow White, waiting for her reply.
The chipmunk rises up onto two legs, and he slowly walks towards Snow White with a graceful swagger. "You see sweet cheeks, the thing is I got places to be, and you are just in my way. So are you gonna keep stepping? Or do you have a problem?"
Snow White gasps and stands up from her previously crouched position next to the not-so-sweet chipmunk and continues down the path.
"That's what I thought toots." The chipmunk's laughter is heard as Snow White continues on her way.
As Snow White recommences on her journey, She drops into a hidden trap intended for an unsuspecting animal.
"Ahh ha! I've gotcha now."
A random stranger rushes over to the me-filled hole, making me jump over to the furthest side of the hole.
"Oh! I am truly sorry miss. I didn't mean to trap you. You see, there is a polar bear wandering around these woods, and I am making it my duty and job to catch it." The stranger rambles on.
"It is absolutely no trouble what-so-ever. Now do you think it would be possible to help me out?" Snow White asks in a sugary sweet voice.
"Oh my gosh! You're right. I'll be back in a jiffy." The stranger rushes off without a backward glance.
"Oh. Okay. I guess I'll be waiting right here then." Snow White says under her breath.
Within the next couple minutes, there is a big commotion around the top of the hole.
"I am back with a ladder, here to save you." The stranger says, while fighting to get the rope ladder off of his shoulder and over the side of the trap.
Snow White scurries up the rope ladder with deft movements. "Thank you, kind sir for helping me get out of that nasty trap."
"The pleasure was all mine."
There was a pregnant pause while the two of them just stand there looking at each other.
"I..." Snow White starts to say, but is silenced when a murderous roar is heard from the forest about a mile away.
"Sorry, I gotta' run. I hear em'." The stranger says before running after the roar.
"But...Never mind." Snow White says aloud as the back of the stranger's head is no longer visible between the gaps of the trees.
Snow White dejectedly walks away from where she met her strange savior before she continues on her journey of enlightenment.
Snow White has been walking the forest for an hour before she stops to sit down and get a drink of water. She stares at her dirty reflection, pondering her journey.
Snow White stands up from the water's edge, and she sees a hidden cottage behind some foliage. Snow White decides to investigate a little bit and walks to the door and pushes it open.
