The Game of Love

Ch 4

Mike's POV

" Ow. " , we both said

I rubber the pain from my head as I looked up to see the most beautiful girl in front of me. Blonde wavy hair with electric blue eyes and fair skin with pink lips.

She looked at me and smiled as she started picking up the fruits that I dropped and put them in the basket for me.

" Sorry. " , she said

" No it's okay. " , I said holding the basket. " Where are you running from? "

" Peter. " , she said rubbing her neck. " Short story short I kinda put him in pain so I'm running from him. "

" Oh. " , I said " You must be the new girl, Isabella. "

" Yes I am. And you? " , she asked

" The name is Mike. " , I said as I shook her hand.

" Oh I seen you before. " , she said " But you always seemed to be in the back. "

" Well I like to keep it on the down low sometimes. Just following orders. " , I said

" Isabella! I know you are near! " , Pan shouted.

" Oh I better go. " , she said laughing " Well I hope we meet up again. "

" Yeah me too. " , I said as I felt my cheeks blush red

She smiled and waved as she ran past me to the other side of the camp. I couldn't help but watch my girl run like the wind.

She is something special.

I sighed as I kept walking over to the storage room where we kept our food. I grabbed the basket and placed each juicy fruit into it's place looking at all of the delights. I patted my back knowing I did a good job and so I came out only to meet face to face with frustrated Pan.

" Where is she? " , he asked

" I don't know what you are talking about? " , I lied

He gritted his teeth as he grabbed me by the collar and put me against a tree.

" I taught you better than to lie to me. " , he snapped " Now where did she go? "

" I don't know where she went. She just ran past me. " , I stated

He gave me a glare and put me down as I looked at his green eyes getting darker. Geez, I wonder what Isabella did to Pan that made him like this.

" Listen Pan, I'm sure whatever Isabella did to you she didn't mean it. I mean she is new here so give her a chance. " , I said trying to calm him down

" She tried my patience. " , he snapped

" Well play it as a game of hide and seek. I know you like games. " , I said " Just go easy on her when you find her. "

He gave me a confused look and glanced at me as he ruffled my hair.

" You are really great Mike. " , he said " So tell me why do you care about her? "

" I mean...I just...Well she is a girl and you have to be patient her. " , I said nervously

" Huh uh. Just go back and train. " , he ordered me

I nodded my head and he disappeared out of my sight. I hope he doesn't hurt her or anything. But I mean at least I met Isabella. She seems like a nice girl.

Hopefully I can meet up with her again.
