Ava's POV

Cameron's weird but I shouldn't even be talking.

He's probably gonna back off since I told him about Aidan even though he's just my bestfriend.

But I wish to be more than just bestfriends. I've liked him since freshmen year but he's always with every other girl but me... plus he always seems to put me in the friendzone sadly.

It's weird how I fell for him.

- flashback -

Aidan and I were together in the library working on our history project. We were alone. It was late and the project was due the next day. Luckily, my aunt was the Liberian and we had access to the whole library.

Aidan was done with his part while I was still working. He was waiting for me so he could drop me off.

About 15 minutes later, I was finally finished. Aidan fell asleep on the couch by the entrance. I gathered all our stuff and went to wake him up.

But I didn't wake him up. I sat next to him on my knees staring and admiring him.

It was weird.

My heart was pounding as if it could just escape my chest. My face fell hot as I began to feel embarrassed.

He was still asleep.

I stared right at him but before I knew it, I was inching closer and closer to his face.

Then, I was right there in front of him face. I did something that I never thought would happen in a million years.

I kissed him.

It was light but felt like it was going for hours.

It was my first kiss but it was also his.

- flashback over -

And still to this day, he doesn't know about it.

I regret that decision.

I took advantage of him.

And I still haven't told him about it.
