Caine Alexander's POV 

"The rogue was killed when we got there."

"How did it ever get that far? He had to have gone through our territory for him to reach the Alexander-Wolf boundary?"

"That's what we are trying to figure out to make sure that something like this doesn't happen again, Alpha."

"That is not acceptable. Especially in front of another pack. What did Dark Wolf say?"

"Well, the Alpha was not happy but didn't talk to us about it, "Colton explained, saying Alpha like a question mark.

"Was he an Alpha or not?"I questioned, it wasn't that hard to tell.

"It was a she-wolf, and when she first came out of the forest, she was huge, so automatically we thought it was a he and that he was their Alpha."

"So you're telling me the she-wolf was huge?"I asked incredulous because Colton was known to exaggerate.

"As big as your brother and you or even bigger, "Colton said, but I looked at his unimpressed. He was a small wolf for being a Beta, so maybe that's why he thought the wolf was huge? No she-wolf is that big.

"And she's hot! I mean, she has the perfect body. It would be nice to have her as a mate or just have sex, doesn't matter to me, "Colton added.

Colton was Beta of the Alexander Pack and my cousin. I was the Alpha of the Alexander pack alongside my brother Dominic.

"Oh, and once we arrived, she got down to business. You could tell she's powerful. She must be the Alpha's daughter. It weird for a Luna to have a voice that powerful though, and I've heard she's like worshiped in the pack, everyone loves her," he ranted, "One thing was weird though, she's like you?"

I raised an eyebrow. Can this guy stop talking?

"Her wolfs a metallic gray with red eyes, and yours is a scarlet wolf with red eyes, two of the rare type of wolf colors."

I just shrugged my shoulders; there was nothing special about the color of my wolf. I was positive because my twin brother has the same color of fur like me. Dominic is known as Dom, my twin brother. I hated Dominic for various reasons. He's always so serious, and when we were little, we always had to share everything. Even the Alpha title we share, but I can't wait to have someone that will only be mine, a mate.

"Send me a mental picture of this girl that's so hot," I said, putting air quotations.

I closed my eyes as woods came into my mind, and a girl came out from behind the trees. She was hot. I know you may think I'm a pervert, but my eyes went to her boobs immediately. Okay, in my defense, she was only wearing a tank top. I looked up to see that she had dark blue eyes, black hair, and a smooth, defined face.

I looked at Colton, who was staring at me with a knowing grin, "Hot, right?"

"What pack did you say she was from?"I asked, leaning in my chair.

"The Dark Wolf Pack."

I shook my head and grimaced, "That pack's ruthless."

"How are they ruthless? I mean, they seem like the no fun and all business kind of pack but ruthless?"

"Did you know they'll mate Alpha with Alpha or higher ranked member even if they have found their mate just to be strong. Did you know they kill rouges without question?"

"That's harsh! Mates are sacred, and Rogues should have due process unless they've harmed a pack member."

"I know. Apparently, one Alpha a couple of generations ago found his mate and killed her because she was an Omega, and he was already engaged to an Alpha of a neighboring pack."

"Is that true though?" he said in disbelief, "That's probably an exaggerated story because how can someone kill their mate."

"Yeah, I don't know. Harsh shit."

'The Dark Wolf Pack's Alpha's daughter will come today. I can't come, but you'll be talking about the increase in rogues' Dom mind linked.

'When?' I asked irritated. My wolf didn't even like him, my own twin brother.

'At four.'

I cut off the link turning towards Colton smirking, "Guess who I'm having a meeting with?"

"Seriously? Are you going to try to make a move?"

"Maybe. Actually probably not, she's probably a prude, especially if she's all business."

Dom walked in at that moment, "Or maybe she takes her position seriously and isn't going to throw herself at you like you want."

"If she threw herself at me, why would I want someone like that?"

"That's rich coming from you Caine."Dom sneered as he walked out of the room while Colton just stared at me.

"I wonder what's up his ass?"Colton joked, looking at the door to make sure Dom was gone.

"Respect your Alpha,"I told Colton. Even though I wasn't particularly fond of Dom, he was still the Alpha and lower rank members, no matter if Colton was our cousin and Beta, needed to show respect.

"Sorry. Excuse me Alpha."He said, dismissing himself.

I grabbed the report that Colton made of the incident and chuckled at the fact that she threw the rogue at them. She must be something else to do that. I realized that It was rude to say that she's a prude because she's coming as the Dark Wolf's representative, and I should treat her with respect. My mom would be so disappointed with the lack of respect I have shown women these past couple of years. Too bad she wasn't here, maybe I wouldn't hate my brother so much.

I grabbed the framed picture of my mom, dad, Caine, and I. Life was so much easier then, and we wouldn't have to take the responsibilities of Alpha so early. Our only concern for our teenage years should have been worried about high school and girls, not about rogues and meetings between packs. Sometimes I feel like leaving and not returning, but as much as I hate Dom. I wouldn't leave him to deal with everything because he was unstable. Time to play my part in Wolf diplomacy.
