Chapter 4:Finally Friday

Emily's P.O.V:

So finally it's Friday. Me and Ethan avoided each each other for the pass 2 day and it was awkward because we have 3 periods together. Its 5th period, My last period with Ethan yay! But then my teacher ruined everything. "everyone get together with your partners and work on your project, you'll be working on it for the whole period" I look at Ethan and he looks at me and I look away immediately. Shit I say to myself . He walks towards me and takes a seat. "Hey" he said kind of nervously. "Uh, hey" "So about the other day-" I cut him off "no it's ok" "I'm just really sorry about my brother." " no really it's ok" "ok, um when do you want to work on the project?" he said "I'm I don't know whenever your available" Great Emily now he thinks you have no life. "Uh, what about today, it is Friday so why not" "Ok sure" "don't worry Grayson won't be there he has a date with some girl" "ok" then the rest of the period we just worked on the project. The after 6 period me Ethan mom picked us up. "Oh hi" his mom said "hi" "Ethan introduce to this fine lady" "mom this is emily, Emily this is my mom." "very nice to meet you Mrs.Dolan" "very nice to meet you to, Ethan never told me he had a girlfriend" his face turned red and so did mine. "Mom she's not my girlfriend, she's just a friend" "oh, sorry about that Emily didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" "no, it's ok" we got to Ethans house and went upstairs to his room. We worked on the project a for 3 hours. "I'm exhausted" Ethan said. "Same" I'll be right back with some drinks. Then guess who walks in a few minutes later, Grayson! Woo hoo, this is not going to end good. "Emily I didn't know you were here." he said "um, weren't you going on a date?" "I was but she stood me up, but lets not talk about me. Lets talk about you and Ethan. Are you guys good, have you talked about your relationship?" "we don't have a relationship Grayson and you know that" "so you don't like him." I lied "really?" "uh yeah" "no I know you like hi-" "Grayson what are you doing here?" Ethan asks as he enters the room. "Oh get bro didn't see you there" "What did you to her" "oh nothing just that you and like each other" "dude what the fuck" "Ethan just tell her you don't like her and I'll leave you alone."

Ethans P.O.V.

I look at Emily and I know I can't say that. "I-I cant" "why not?"gray says "is it because you do like her" "no it's because I like her as a friend."

Emily's P.OV:

Like her as a friend those words hurt. This is why I don't like to have crushes you just hurt.
