(John's pov)
We left that cell and reached the stairs. Soon we got on the elevator. Man she so pretty. She's sweet and graceful and smart and strong. What am I thinking about? I should be focused on getting out not on some girl who I barely know. Ugh...she so damn pretty. I want her to be mine and only mine."

(Rose's pov)

We finally reached the top which seemed forever. "Arn't there guards and other prisoners?" I asked."yea I think most of them are below us though."he said. "Are you sure because we are almost out of this place I can see the exit too. This seems to easy. I think this might be some sort of trap."i said. " No we're fine let's go." We managed to get outside."Keep running! Don't stop!"he said. So we kept running. We were at a good distance from the place then suddenly we heard a loud siren go off. The entire place blew up in flames. I stopped."Mom. Dad.....I." "why are you stopping? That place is gone now." "My parents....they were in there. They officially gone now." I started to to get chocked up and I started to cry."I could've saved them." They're gone because of me."I fell to my knees and and starte to cry. John put his hand on my shoulder and said,"No. Its not your fault. They are the ones that did this to you, to all of us. I'm sorry for your lost but we have to keep going,we can't stop now. Come on lets go."he said. "Ok, I know where we can go.
As soon we were on the street where my house was we saw several fire trucks, police cars and ambulances drive down this street. Still, we continued our way to my place.
Then I realized I didn't just my parents but lost my house as well. "What are we gonna do now?" He said." I don't know I lost my family and my house. I have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. I'm alone. "I started to cry. Why did my life end up like this? What did I do wrong? Why? Why!? Why can't I live a normal life like any girl would. Why can't I be happy and stay happy with my family? "You have me."John said." Huh?" I looked up at John and started to wipe my tears away." You will always have me. I promise I won't leave your side no matter what It takes. I will be with you."he said. "John I--"he surprised me with a warm hug to calm me down and it made me feel warm inside. Of course I hugged him back. " Excuse me miss are you alright? Also why are you here ?" An officer came up to us."I'm fine. This place....this place was my home."i said. "I see. Come with me. I can see a gash on your forhead. What's your name?" The officer asked." Rose Scarlet and this my friend John." I said." My name name is officer June Rigens, just call me June. Alright i'm done patching you up. So, where your parents?"she asked. "They're dead. They were murdered today." "What? Do you know the murderer is and where he/she went?" "They were killed by a mercenary of the R.A." i said. "Them!? That was the third time they strike this month! Do you where the killer went?" "Don't worry about the killer I killed him." I said." Right......, well we can't stay out here how about I take you two with me to the station while we this story cleared out, is that ok?" " Yea its fine." I said. "The fire department needs to come out here and put this fire out so, let's go." Said June.

At the station:

"Ok now where your parents died ?" "I was with them. It all started when my parents and I were kiddnaped and taken this place called the Asylum. There he cut them down right infront on me. In the Asylum where the tested on people. There were hardly any prisoners and guards so are escape was easy. As soon as we left the place it blew up in flames. This organization is cruel! How come no one isn't doing anything about this?" "They are. Their name is classified for security reasons. Besides, only those who are able to train and fight can join in." June said." John is smart and has a photographic memory and I have supernatural powers." I said." Don't mean to prove you wrong but there are only two people in the world who have special abilities. One of them happens to be the leader of the R.A."she said. "I can prove it to you." I transformed into a animalistic demon. June jumped up and backed away slowly in fear and shock because of my form. I transformed back." All I know is how to shape-shift. I haven't been practicing at all with my powers." I can't believe it.....your one them! Th-they established a safe zone outside of the city.
