You are Jocos.

You bury your face in your hands, keeping these idiots alive is going to be harder than expected. The bug collector has outfitted himself in some nanoweave armor with some harder plates at various spots and a basic shield generator. The psychologist is in a short, sleeveless, black dress that doesn't even reach her knees with a shield generator strapped to her stomach. The ... the mutant?! What's she ... he ... what are they doing here? Whatever. The mutant is dressed in an amalgamation of various pieces of fabric held together into the form of a jumpsuit with duct tape, staples, & determination. At least you & the Captain are in medium full body armor with built in shield generators with helmet displays synced to your tablets. You fully expect someone to die.

You are Laela.

The security guy, Jockos you think, is executing a face palm x2 combo while mumbling something. He and Lindi have made the poor choice of wearing heavy armor, you went for mobility.

The albino, Mutie ... you are sure their name is Mutie, is acting like a cornered rodent. What are they wearing? You need to get them some better clothes later steal that rag while your at it ...

Falks, the adorable weirdo, is occupying his time messing with his inventory. He seems very excited. A quick peek in his mind floods yours with excited thoughts of bugs & hoard lust.

Lindi ... you can't get a good read on without reading her mind, you blame the helmet.

Lindi comes forward, asks if everyone is ready. Everyone says yes, some of the yeses are forced though. Lindi directs you all to the dropship. You have to admit you're excited, been a while since you've been planet side.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You are Falks Vi- wow. That is some view. All these overgrown structures & trees.

You've landed. Everyone is taking in the night scenery. You can hear movement but you haven't seen anything yet.

Lindi is scanning the area. Apparently the two strongest power signatures are that tower thing over there & something in the forest. The thing in the forest has a stronger power signature but the tower might be better as it would be easier to find if extraction is needed. Laela points out that exploring the local ruins & forest is a valid option that would keep you close to the ship.

As quick as the options are presented everyone devolves into arguing over which one to pick. Mutie wants to go to the strongest signal, scavenge what we can and leave as quickly as possible. Laela wants to explore the immediate area. Jocos wants to go to the tower as it's like to have structures usable as cover in case of combat. You don't care, as long as bugs which is pretty much everywhere. The choice is up to Lindi.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

[I'd honestly like to do a poll on where they go but seeing as no one has read this I can't do that. Dice rolling it is. 1D6. 1 & 6 = stronger power source, 2 & 5 = tower, 3 & 4 = immediate area. ... 3]

You are Lindi.

You have just had your tablet roll a virtual six sided die. Based on the result you tell everyone that we're going to stay close to the ship. You are met with confirmations as the group dispersed throughout the area. You join up with Jocos, Mutie follows behind you. Laela & Falks went off in a different direction.

The first ruins you come to are probably only held together by the overgrowth. Mutie makes a rude remark about the window design & the flag things. Jocos can't identify an entrance and offers to make one. You lift yourself up to the window with your telekinesis, you got this, you slam the window and a bit of the attached wall in. You tell them that you'll have a way for them to get in soon. You descend in through the hole.
