It is indeed quirky. The title of each chapter is cute. :3 also the title itself. It rhymes and that caught my attention. ;)
I like it when Ryder is drunk. I like it when April have to take care of him. I like it when Ryder never learns April's real name. I like it when... I can't say more. I might say the ending.
If you are looking for something light and funny, this is a good story to read. This is really a quirky tale.
