"2 shots of tequila please" I asked the bartender, he smiled and handed me what I wanted. I chugged it, at least my 3rd one, and I'm drunk as fuck. I laugh as some guy walks over and starts dancing with me, I dance back. My friends look over and give me looks as if telling me I'm going to get lucky tonight. I agree. And he starts grinding on me, I allow him.
"Your so hot" he tells me in my ear
"Your not so bad yourself" I say "I'm Sophie"
He laughs "The names Carter"

Alice's POV

"Babe, come here"
"What love?" I ask
"I want a hug"
"Aw, I'm coming babes" I giggle
"Your so amazing Alice! I love your hugs, and you!"
"I love your kisses, and I love you more Megan" i kiss her "I need to go to work now" I groan of sadness
"Ughhh, stayyy!"
"I have to go gorgeous, I'll bring you home a surprise" I say and give her a kiss good bye and leave to go to work.

"Alice, aisle 8, a costumer needs help" the walkie went on
"Got it" I answer back
I walk into aisle 8 and a girl was their holding her head, back faces towards me, searching for medicine.
"Excuse me? Do you need any help?" I ask
"Ugh.. yeah.. pain killers possibly?"
"Uh, yeah, over here" I turn and she follows, I reach up and grab them, turn around to hand her them, and I'm faced with my past.
"Oh, hey" she says
"Hi" I reply and turn to start walking when she speaks again
"How have you been?" She asks
"I'm good, thanks. I have to go now."
"Just because we aren't together anymore, doesn't mean we can't talk to each other like normal people." She says following me
"Why do you care?" I ask
"What? I cant talk like a civilized human being to an old friend?"
I laugh "your ridiculous Sophie. You don't care. I don't care. Let's just leave it at that and stop. I have a life to get to, and a girlfriend to be with, so let me live." I say and start walking
"You have a girlfriend?" She asked kinda hurt
"Mhm" I mumble "I have to work now"
"I missed you a lot"
"No you didn't"
She stops me from walking "You don't know what I've been through this last past year! can we talk later, catch up or something? I have missed you, and I want to know what's going on in your life.... please?"
I breathe out with my eyes closed "fine"
She lets go of me "are you free, Friday night?"
"Yeah"
"Cool, I'll, uh, pick you up then?"
"I can drive myself"
"Okay, I'll text you my address later"

When I got home, the lights were off, besides the tv. There was a beautiful sleeping girl laying on the couch.
It reminded me of when I'd sometimes watch Sophie sleep, and she'd tell me I was a creep when she'd catch me.
"Megan?" I whispered
"Hmm?" She yawned and smiled when she saw me
"I got you your favorite ice cream" I smiled back
"Aw, you know me so well" she planted a kiss on my lips and got up, then we ate Oreo ice cream together.
