A Not So Movie Date (Mark X Reader Fluff)

Movies...? Of course!

"Hey Y/N. You just started Summer holidays, right?" His deep yet gentle voice through the phone rang in my ear. "Yea, what's up Mark?"

My heart was pounding. Not from nervousness, or the fact that I love him (even though I do...).

"I was wondering if you're free today and watch a movie with me at our dorm. You know... since we hardly got to see each other because of our promotions."

It was because I was excited.

"And don't worry about the other guys, they said they won't disturb us if you agree to come. I-I mean, if you're busy then it's okay and we can do it another time."

Because we finally get to spend quality time together after all his promotions and concerts scheduled before.

"Why would I be busy today? Of course I'll come!" I joyfully yelled at my phone, though Mark told me to quiet down because the members were around. Well, It was just Jackson because I heard his voice at the back and didn't hear anyone else. They were probably out doing something. "Come at 7:30pm, okay?" I could tell that Mark was smiling because of the way he spoke (you know? Like when people smile while they talk it's kinda different?).

After the phone conversation I quickly ran to my best friend who lived about 5 houses away from me. I was slamming on her dorm door which thier leader opened. "U-Umm. Hi Solji... C-Can I speak to Hani please...?" I was always intimidated by her, I don't know why (Probably because she was the leader of EXID). "Hani! Y/N's calling for you!" She yelled for Hani as I awkwardly waited at the door. "Why is your friend always awkward and quiet when she talks to me or when she's near me?" I heard Solji mumble to Hani as she walked back to her room. Hani just shrugged her shoulders, "Probably because your the leader. Also, you so seem intimidating." She said as she made her way to me. "Hani! Guess what?!" I put my hands on her shoulders as the thought hit me with excitement. "Wh-What? Why're you so happy?" She laughed, watching me going crazy. "I'll tell you at my place." I dragged her out of their dorm, closing it after and happily skipped to my own place. Hani was so confused that she was curious to know what it was.

Once we got inside my place I jumped onto my couch and sat cross-legged, patting a spot next to me for her to sit down. "Okay, so whats the news?" She leaned in and rose her brow. "MARK." I said with a crazy happy face and rosy cheeks. Hani gasped, she was more curious than before, "TELL ME EVERYTHING.". "Okay so, he asked me out on a date!!! After months we haven't even seen each other once!!!" I took the cushion that was lying next to me and put it on my lap. "Waah, really?" Hani sounded surprised, but she was still happy for me since I got to see my boyfriend after so long. I nodded in response and scrunched my lips, "I hope that the members don't interrupt us, even though Mark promised." She looked confused and asked, "Why would the members disturb you two...?". I sighed and flopped onto the couch backwards, "Because we're watching a movie at his dorm.". Hani raised a brow again and grinned, "Ayyeee, taking it to the next level.". I threw the cushion I was cuddling at her, "No! It's not like that! Yet..." We looked at each other, realising what I said, and just burst into laughter. "Hey, you know what?" She asked, piling the cushions that were on the couch onto her lap. "What?" I stared blankly at the ceiling, then smiled like a weird person again. "You should do something for Mark." She nudged me, but I had no idea what she meant, "What do you mean, 'Do something for Mark'? I haven't seen him in months and I don't know if he's the same person that I went out with before he left for his career."
"Oh, come on. Do you think he actually changed? I mean, I'm an idol too and I've done multiple promotions and concerts for years. Do you think I've changed...?" She convinced me with her words because what she said were facts, "True..." I sighed.
