Chapter 3: Meet Natalie

~Natalie's POV~

I looked over my shoulder at Zevvy and we both sighed. I know what you are thinking, having a famous older sister would be so cool! You're wrong.

Having a famous older sister means everyone thinks she's better than you, and you are always overshadowed by her.

Zev and I didn't want to tell the others about our older sister because we didn't want them to like us for our sister, we wanted them to like us for us!

I'm so glad Jordy also enjoys acting. My older sister got me to love acting but she's always been better than me.

The only thing I'm better at than my older sister is fashion, so I've decided to take a class on fashion this semester!

I moved to New York because I wanted a fresh start and to get away from the comparison my older sister and I always had.

Zevvy and I were always tired of being left in her shadow and never getting enough attention and barely seeing our parents and sister- they were always traveling.

We also got tired of the paparazzi everywhere. We both needed a fresh start and some privacy.

I think Zevvy is a bit homesick and misses her soccer team back home, but I'm glad I left and I'm ready to start a whole new acting and fashion career without my famous sister getting in the way!

"Our older sister... Is Aria Rose." Zevvy said sadly.

We both looked at the floor as we waited for our new friends to obsess over the fact our sister is a celebrity and forget all about us.

"WOW THAT IS SO COOL!" Jordy exclaimed.

"Will we ever get to meet her?" Briana asked as she held her face in excitement.
My new friends looked at us with a puzzled look on their face and asked why we looked so upset about this.

I explained to them how Aria always foreshadows us and that she's the reason why Zevvy and I left LA.

I continued to tell them about how she's always been better than me at everything except fashion.

Zevvy complained how people only like us for our sister, not for who we are. Before Jordy and Briana could reply, we heard two knocks on the door.

"Knock, Knock!"

"I'll get it." Said Briana.

Briana opened the door and small girl with brown hair in a bun and thick glasses on her face walked in as she observed all of our smiling faces.

Soon a smile grew onto her face and she said shyly, "Hi everybody. I'm... Ahem... Hazel. It's nice to meet all of you."

"It's nice to meet you too! Don't be shy, we don't bite." Briana said as she helped Hazel with her suitcases.

I decided to introduce myself but of course my twin cut me off.

"Hey I'm Zevvy! You can call me Zev for short. This is my twin sister, Natalie. Watch out for her... She likes to cause trouble and act badass." Zevvy said while giving me a sassy wink.

"Gee thanks Zev. Well I guess it's true I'm not a goodie two shoes kind of girl. It's very nice to meet you Hazel! I enjoy fashion and acting!" I said as I laughed a little then turned to my twin and gave her an evil glare and squinted my eyes in anger.

Her brown eyes looked back at my brown eyes as she stuck out her tongue. She can really get on my nerves sometimes!

"Hey! Welcome to Slag Boarding School. I'm Jordy and I enjoy theatre and Shakespeare! What about you?" Jordy asked.

"I absolutely LOVE photography and I'm interested in makeup too! I can't wait to be roomies with all of you amazing girls! Eek!" Hazel said with a huge smile on her face.

I hope that Hazel can photograph my fashion line. That's if I actually get to make a fashion line!

One girl in the whole fashion class of about 50 girls gets to create a fashion line and model all of the clothing and possibly become a supermodel with Janea Sparks!

My dream is to become a famous actress and model who has her own amazing fashion line.

Maybe then I could get out of my famous sisters shadow.

I'm so glad I have such amazing roommates. I can't wait to start the first day of school tomorrow!

I'm so nervous though! I hope there won't be any mean girls or head classes I won't pass.

Lets hope for the best and tighten your seat belts because the tenth grade is about to start.
