Chapter 1

"Mason, are you ready?" my mom asks.

"Yes mom," I say.

We are going to a new house. Mom says it is away from city and is like a town.

"Ask Alice if she is ready."

"Alice, are you ready?" I ask.

"Yes," she says, sounding shy but that's natural because Alice is always rude.

After we reach there, it is 10:00 A.M. There are a few buildings: A school, a hospital, and others. But the hospital seems as if it has been closed forever.

We reach our house. Next to our house is a small cave full of danger written all over it, and three houses next to that.

"Now go to sleep," mom says.

"But it's 10:30," I say.

"I forgot to tell you. You have night school."

"WHAT?" Alice and I shout in the same voice.

"Why is it at night? At least tell us when the school time is."

"8:00 P.M."

Mom's P.O.V.

"Now I need a maid as I said yesterday," I say as I am talking to the person on the phone.

"Oh, wait a minute please," the guy on the phone says.

I hear the bell ring. A maid is in front of me but she seems to be very tired.

"You're the new maid?"

"Yes."

"Why are you so tired?" I ask but don't really care.

"Just a little sun burnt."

"Never mind." I don't really hear her. "I am going to sleep tomorrow. I want to see the house changed." I go to my room.

At 5:30 P.M., I wake up very dizzy. I look downstairs, frightened of what my eyes see. The house is all clean as if it is new. The dinner is on the table and the school bags are ready.

Mason's P.O.V.

I wake up at the alarm that was made to 6:00 P.M. not by me and find Alice in front of me and some other girl.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I am your new maid."

I go back to my room, finding my school uniform and my wardrobe full of clothes. I wear my uniform and go downstairs, finding Alice and my mom sitting shocked on the table, the same as me. After we wake up out of our shock, we eat and it is already 7:30 P.M.

"We have to move it now. We have to go early for your classes," mom says.

"No ma'am, I have your classes and appointed a bus to school," our maid says.

"Wow."

"When is the bus coming?" was all I manage to say because we are all shocked.

"Three minutes from now, sir," the maid answers.
