Let go

I'm leaving the one place I call home ,I thought to my self then Ms.claries snap me back to reality "Mond dear tell me what's wrong" A tear trickle down my face as I hug Ms.Claries as if my life was on the line I whisper in her ear and say  "I'm moving away" as soon as those words escaped my mouth Ms. Claries  hugged me harder and her eyes started to water "I love you Mond I will miss u and u will always be a daughter to me" I felt my heart crack as well just the thought of my Bestfriend Violet who was my rider and rock .

Flashback

"Violet come on were gonna be late" I'm coming aright  she yelled I slung my beach bag over my shoulders as violet was running down the steps she snatched her bag from her big brother Andrew as we both yelled "Bye Mom" (Yeah I called Violet's mother mom bc she was more of a mom to me) Andrew was supposed to walk us to the school so me and violet can go to our school field trip to the beach so we can observe  hatching turtle eggs.  We where half way there to the school and Andrew said "I'm about to buy something real quick y'all want anything" Sour skittles me and Violet yell together , Andrew said alright then left inside the store. Me and Violet was waiting outside as a black SUV slowed down  and the window rolled down the sat a man with black shades . I looked to violet with the look "We got to go" as we slowly backed up the man grinned and said whats ur name beautiful as he touched Violet hair I tried to grab violet but he snatched my wrist and throwed me to the wall just then Andrew Comes  out the store with skittles,soda,and chips he met my eyes then violets then the man who killed his father. The man raised up and hold Violet's hair tightly I was shaking like crazy as my Bestfriend is crying for help Andrew yelled "Stop don't you think you done enough damage " Your right the man yelled and let violet go she ran to me and Andrew arms as we rejoice the man pulled out a gun and pointed it towards Andrew's head and turned off safety just as the bullet nears andrew
Violet jumps in front of Andrew as the bullets fire into her back the man hopped in his car and left I was frozen to the bone tears were pouring out my eyes but I got the strength and grab Andrew  phone and call 911 the ambulance was on there way people where walking by and recording and posting them online instead of helping us I was covered in blood holding my best friend as her brother head lie low in his legs the ambulance arrived and we zoom towards the hospital I locked my hand with violet as she lays unconscious I start to talk about all the dares we did, are plans for the future we got to the hospital and doctors rushed towards her stretcher and dragged her away from me
