two; high school

High school. A dramatic part of your life. Boys, classes, girl drama.
Today, was Riley, Maya, and Megan's first day. They were talking about it all day yesterday. In Riley's bay window.

"Maya, ready for high school?" Riley asked.
"Actually, I'm not. We were kings in middle school. Now we're just freshman."
"What's wrong with that?"
"Everything. People could make fun of us."
"Maya, don't worry about it! We are sisters and we are always there for each other!"
"Thanks Riles, that means a lot."
"So want to get Megan and go to high school?"
"Let's do it"

Maya was scared. For starting high school. She thought she would disappear a little bit. There are a billion students here. She feels like she's going to get hurt.

Riley was ready for high school. She wants to fit in and wants to be friends with everyone. Riley was ready to be a freshman.

Megan was nervous and exited. She was ready and not ready. She didn't want to get hurt and she wanted to fit in with all the students. Wanted to talk to everybody. She was ready.

Maya was the only one who wasn't ready for high school. She didn't want to talk, or get hurt. She just want to fit in. But, she thinks she would never fit in with anybody. Expect Megan and Riley.

They walked through the doors running. Well, Riley and Megan were running. Maya was walking. Slowly walking.

She looked around and then ran to Megan and Riley. They walked around the school and gasped in awes. Then, this boy walked towards them and looked at them.

"Hi, I'm Lucas Friar, I'm new and I'm looking for home room 143."

Then Maya turned around then Lucas and Maya locked eyes. For like a minute. Then Maya looked at Riley and Megan who were looking at her.

"Home room 143 is down the hall to your left." Megan said."

"Megan, it's our first day in high school, how do you know that?" Maya asked.

"I looked on their website."

"The high school has a website?" They all asked.

"I looked around the school, you dumbos." Megan said.

Lucas left to home room 143 and Megan and Riley looked at Maya.

"You like him." Riley said.
"I do not."
"Then why did you lock eyes?" Megan asked.
"Because we just did."
"Whenever people lock eyes it means you like each other." Riley said.
"Fine. Maybe I like him just a little bit."
"Maya likes Lucas, Maya likes Lucas!" They both shouted.
"Shush! And don't make it a big deal!" Maya said while walking away.

Maya liked him a lot. They just met but, that eye lock.
