Chapter 13 - What If...

Casey POV




'Last of the boys but certainly not least, Mr Wesley Stromberg' our principal said as Wesley walked up to the stage receiving his diploma. When he got it he shook out principals hand and threw his hands in the air as everyone applauded him. 'WOO WES YOU FUCKING RULE!!!' Drew telled causing most people to laugh. Today is our graduation from High School and I'm so insanely happy about wing finished school. Yeah I won't see a few people for a while but I'll be fine. 'Okay now for the girls' our principal read as Wes took his seat. I smiled over at him and he winked back at me. I wish I could just run over to him and kiss him like no one else was in the room, but I think we're getting there. In Drew's eyes, and everyone else's we are becoming friends so we can at least spend a bit of time together. Drew us praising himself for it though but he is so happy that we get along, let's hope he will be the same when we tell him what's been going on. 'Aboilé Lopez' the principal called and we all cheered for her. 'Casey Chadwick' he said as I stood up walking onto the stage. 'congratulations Casey you are an excellent student' he said shaking my hand and handing me my diploma. Thats when I practically went deaf. Drew started yelling 'THAT'S MY GURL, SHOW EM WHO RUNS THIS SCHOOL!!!' I started to laugh but the principal looked piss. I took my seat again and waited until the ceremony was over.


After that we all went outside in our white gowns to get a year photo taken. It was organised by height so I was at the very front. It's not that I look bad because my hair is nicely curled, make up well done and I'm wearing a beautiful, white, body-con dress with white matching shoes. After the photo it was photos taken by the family. First I got one on my own. Then with my family, then Drew then Keaton, then the girls and last Wes. Laraine and mom were taking the photo as everyone else watched. 'You look really beautiful' he whispered making me blush as he gently wrapped his his arm around the side of my waist. 'So do you' I replied and he laughed. 'God I just wanna kiss you so bad right now' he whispered and we got the photo taken. 'Hey we will later' I winked walking over to My family. I removed my gown and left it back on the rack. 'So who's ready for a sick graduation party!!' Drew said. 'Dude our grandparents our coming and you know how strict dads parents are' I stated. 'Don't you worry you're pretty little head, after a while Wes and his Fam are coming over and it will just be us and them so we'll have a real good time' he said wrapping his arm around my shoulder and the other around Savannahs.

'Hey where is Kathryn?' I asked as we walked back to the car.

'On the phone over there, I think it's the social service thingy' Savannah replied. I quickly removed myself from under Drew's arm and over to Kathryn and mom.

'What's going on?' I asked and mom shrugged as Kathryn put away her phone.

'A trial has been canceled and they wanna move mine up to today, I could get Josh back today, I'm so sorry Case, I know-'

'Who cares about me you gotta go to court and get your baby back, and I'm coming too' I said.

'No baby, you gotta go back to the house with Drew and Savannah. Steve and I will go with Kathryn and we will be home before you know it, with little Joshua' mom said and there was no bother fighting back. I hugged Kathryn tightly and said goodbye.

'I can't wait to see him and spoil him rotten' I said and she laughed.

'Love you Case' she said and I smiled.

'I love you to big sis' I said running off to Drew telling him the whole story.

We got back to our house to meet a few of our relatives because most of dads side has fallen out with mom because she remarried but we still stand by her, obviously. My grandparents, on dads said walked over to me and hugged me. They went on to talk to Drew and Savannah as I went to talk to everyone here. Constantly all that was on my mind was Wes and Kathryn. I need Wes here and I hope Kathryn gets Joshua back. I just can't wait for everyone to leave.

Around two hours later all of the relatives had left and it was only Drew, Savannah and I left so Drew called Wes to tell them to come over. All of the Stromberg's from Laraine to Keaton were coming over as we'll as Drew's friends and maybe Aboilé and Joy but they graduated too so they'll probably not show up. Anyway still no word from Kathryn but I hope everything is going well. A few minutes later the Strombergs arrived. 'Let's fucking party bitches!!!' Wes yelled walking into the kitchen. 'Language Wesley' Laraine strictly warned. I laughed and hugged them all. Kenny lifted me up like I was a baby being cradled and carried me into the sitting room. I laughed as he set me down and everyone gathered into the same room. Drew and the guys started to drink as I sat in between Kenny and Wes. A while had passed when a car pulled up outside but it was too dark to tell who owns it. Obviously it had to Mom and them because we're expecting nobody else.

'Who started the party without me?' I heard and everyone turned to look at the tall man standing in our door way. 'Oh my God!!! Uncle Bobby!!!' I squealed running to him and hugging him tightly. 'Hey bud' he said lifting me up and he squeezed me. Bobby is Moms little brother and is like a father to us. He the best uncle in the whole world. 'It's been too long man' Drew said hugging him too. 'My oh my, it has definitely been too long, look at how grown up you guys are, not kids anymore' he said taking a seat where I sat in between Wes and Kenny. 'Where's your folks?' he asked. 'At court with Kathryn' Drew replied. 'that's right, your mom was telling me about that, but anyway, Laraine Stromberg I don't believe it, how are you?' he said walking over to her and talking as I walked into the kitchen getting him a drink. God if Kathryn gets home with Joshua everything will be perfect, well almost perfect.'



Wesley POV



I spotted Casey walking into the kitchen and decided to follow her without being noticed. As I was walking into the kitchen she was coming out with drinks in her hands. 'Hey beautiful' I said and she smiled. 'Let me just give this to Bobby and I'll meet you in my room straight after' Casey said and I nodded running upstairs and walking into her bedroom. God I've been waiting for this all day. I lay down on her bed waiting for her return just going through everything in my head. What if I just say to everyone that I'm in love with Casey. Maybe I should tell her first. Holy shit I'm in love with Casey. I was taken from my thought as I heard the door being closed and locked. I looked up to see Casey run over and tackle me down onto the bed, straddling my waist. 'Uh I've been craving you so long' she said a she brought her lips to mine. I felt an electric jolt shoot through my body as our lips touched. I placed my hands on the sides of her legs as hers were pressed against my chest to keep herself from falling on me, even though she was as light as a feather. God everything just felt so right.

My hands slowly moved to the zipper of her dress and began to unzip it until I felt the bare skin of her back against my fingertips. 'Mmmm baby' she moaned as I began to kiss down her neck. She quickly removed my shirt and began kissing down my chest, making every kiss count. She stopped at my belt buckle and removed the belt, unzipping my trousers about to remove them when I car blew its horn from out front. 'Oh My God, Kathryn' she said quickly zipping up her dress and fixing herself. 'What about us?' I asked. 'Trust me I haven't forgotten but next week is the wedding and I promise baby, magic will happen' she said running out of the bedroom. 'But I never got to tell to how I feel, how I love you' I whispered as I got dressed and joined everyone downstairs.

I walked into the sitting room to find Kathryn holdings little boy in her arms. He had dirty blonde like most Chadwick's and the biggest blue eyes just like them too. He had huge dimples that showed when he didn't even smile, he was too cute. Everyone greeted each other. Casey was smiling so hard and they were all so happy. For the rest of the night she was with Josh and didn't leave his side until he loved her as much as she loved him. It got me thinking about, maybe one day that will be our child, My baby an Casey's, spending the rest of our lives together, I think I'd like that a lot.
