Chapter2: First Class

"Alright settle down please, thank you. Now today in Art class we are going to be working on a project that will be going on all day for the rest of the week. No other lessons because I feel like you have done a lot and you've just finished your SATS. So the big project is going to be cushions for the first part of the week and I will revel what the other half is after we have completed this. First we will design what we want our cushions to look like, now they can be anything you want so let you imagination run wild!" The teacher exclaimed happily. The only bad thing was that Mrs Ashley chose where we were sitting. 😁 She actually picked places that were perfect. "Now in the front row: Jasmine, then Melissa, then Jake...."The teacher carried on talking. Melissa felt amazing because she got to sit next to her huge crush for the rest of the week!!!!

Mrs Ashley handed out plain paper with an outline of a cushion on it (obviously) , coloured pens and some sheets stapled together with photos of designs on them for ideas. Everything was turning out brilliantly for Melissa! The class started creating their ideas on paper while chatting. Melissa and Jake were getting on really well which felt amazing for her getting to talk to him alone, well with lots of other people but you get what I mean.

Time went by quickly and break was just around the corner so everyone left everything where it was and went out to break. Melissa and Jasmine just walked around the playground talking about dance, make-up and all that kind of stuff.

"Right then class, you can carry on with your designs and then after lunch we will choose what materials we all need." Mrs Ashley beamed from her desk.
