Macelyn's POV (again)

Sally and I were hanging out in her room, then, she asked a question I will have a hard time answering to her,"Do you like L.J? Because I know he likes you. I can tell by the way he acts around you and the way he looks at you. Whenever you are around him, you can tell he just a completely different person. He cares about you and it looks like he would die for you if he needed to." "Promise you won't tell him?" "Promise!" She leaned in and I told her,"Yes, yes I do like him. I would of been dead if it wasn't for him! Look." I lifted up my right sleeve and unwrapped my arm to show her where I carved,'Love is a quiet game', and there was cut marks under it. She pointed a carving that said,'LJ + MI', "What does that one mean?" "Oh.... That one means Laughing Jack + Maclyn Idean. Idean is my last name, but I don't want anyone else to know it because people made fun of it. I put that one in 2 days ago. It healed surprisingly quick for some reason." I said, as she looked at my other arm and pointed to the biggest carving on my left arm. "My abusive ex-boyfriend put that one on my arm. He thought of it as disipline, until he tried to kill me, then it was just out of rage and hate, but he's in jail now, so I'm ok now. One rule, if Slendy ever let's you date, get to know the boy first, become his friend, I learned that the hard way..." I pointed to the scar,"That is the hard way I learned. Sally, never do what I did to myself. Slendy and the rest would never forgive me, and I made some stupid choices when I was younger, I regret those choices and I don't want you to make those choices. Don't hurt yourself and stay strong, young padawan." I said then took a sip of tea, because we were having a tea party, duh! She giggled and took a sip of her tea, then I heard people talking outside the door. I got up and put my ear up to the door, what I heard was Slendy and L.J talking,




S- "Can you believe she likes you?"

L.J- "I guess she does, and I like her too, so it works out!"




I felt L.J put his ear to the door to eavesdrop more, I found where his ear was, and hit that spot. I heard him fall over. I chuckled lightly and opened the door and said,"That's what you get for eavesdropping on Sally and I." I shut the door and sat back down with Sally. "Did you hear anything?" She said, bouncing. "Welp! L.J said he likes me." I said, with suspicion in my voice. "What's wrong? You don't seem happy." "Well.... What if he's just bluffing? Trying to trick me into a false sense of security?" "I've known him for years and he would never do that, especially to the daughter of his mother figure. Your mom was like a mom to him, he really didn't have much disipline before she came. She straightened up his behavior. I don't know how she did it, but she did!" She poured me some more tea and I took a sip. We chatted until it was time for her to go to bed, so I went downstairs and went to the pond and dug in the sand and found it.....
