Kyra's POV It was about 12:30 and Cat had just left with Cas to go to the laser tag place I told them about. As for me, I was staying in and watching a movie. I walk to the couch and dig through the stack of movies we had brought from back home, soon picking the movie dead snow 2. I put the movie into the DVD player and turn on the tv then sit down to watch it. About 20 minutes later I hear a knock on the door. "Come in!!!" I call figuring it was Tate or Zeek. I hear the door open and then close "hey Kyra" I hear a women's voice from behind me. I quickly turn around and see that my mom was standing there and I quickly jump to my feet. "Mom?!?" I exclaim. She nods with a smile on her face. "What are you doing here" I say with surprise. "I got some big news, and thought I should tell you" she smiles. I walk over to her with a knowing look on my face. "Is it that your getting married... Cause we already know that" I say rudely, her face drops "h-how did you find out honey" she says awkwardly. "Try our soon to be step brother" I say. She looks at the floor "I thought you'd be more happy for me" she says sadly. "Seriously?!? Be more happy?!? I would be more happy for you if it would've been you to tell me!!!!" I insist "but learning it from an absolute stranger mom? I'm fuckin mad!!!" I scream at her. "Honey don't cuss" she says with a hint of both anger and sadness. "Don't cuss?? What about don't keep secrets?? Or tell us when somethings wrong? Huh mom? What happened to that?" I scream at her then take off out the front door leaving her alone in our apartment. I quickly pull out my phone, nearly in tears. "Hello, Tate?" I cry "can I come over?"
Cats POV Me and Cas play laser tag for awake before walking to the park and sitting down on the swings. "Can you believe it's only been 2 weeks since we met?" Cas says. "It's felt like an eternity" he finishes. "I can't believe you're gonna be my step brother" I sigh "I know right it's unbelievable!!!!" He laughs. "So what do you want to do now?" I ask moving my feet so I'm able to swing. "Want to go to the beach?" He asks "um I don't know..." I drag looking down to my wrist. "It's alright we can just walk or something" he says with a reassuring smile. "A-alright" I give in. He smiles and takes my hand pulling me off the swing. Within a few minutes were at a private beach and walking hand in hand across the beach. "Cas?" I ask shyly. "Yeah cat?" He asks "c-could we swim?" He nods and we walk over to the water. "Are you sure... I know.." He begins "it's fine Cas" I say cutting him off. He drops my hand and I hesitantly take of my shirt so I'm left in a tank top. Then I slip off my pants and walk into the water. Cas follows, after he takes off his shirt and pants also. We go deeper into the water when I finally can't touch. I playfully splash him and he chased me around the water before finally catching me and holding me in his arms. Before we know it our laughter goes quiet and we both lean in and finally our lips touch. They move in sync for about 20 seconds before we both pull away. I look around awkwardly. "Sorry" I whisper. He smiles and kisses me again. "It's ok..."
Kyra's POV I lay in Tate's arms crying and he rubs my back reassuringly. "It's ok.. It's ok" he whispers to me. I look up to him and kiss him slowly. He kisses me back and I turn over in his lap so I can kiss him better. He slowly pulls away and rests his head on mine. "We should stop before you do something you'll regret." he whispers "why would I regret a thing?" I smile, he quickly goes back into the kiss and before we know it he's carrying me back to the bedroom....
