Chapter 6

Previously - "Yeah we have a whole lot to talk about, but the first thing we need to talk about is the baby." Saying that made it seem surreal, like me becoming a father was actually a dream.

"What are we going to do about the baby James"

Andromeda

The feelings that I had in that moment when he didn't answer me, I could not describe them, it had seemed like forever before he answered but in all reality it was probably 2 maybe 3 minutes.

"I know that we're young and I know that we barely know each oth-" I cut him off. I already know what he was going to say and I was fully prepared for this.

" Look James I know that you do not want this baby and I am fully prepared to take care of it by myself or with the help of Lolita". He looked almost appalled that I would even think of him like that.

" First you have it completely wrong, I was going to say that I wanted you to be my girlfriend" He was looking at me with an intensity that strummed through my body.

" I want this and as much as the thought of being a father scares the hell out of me, I want to try for my sake, your sake, and this baby's sake. Can I do this with you?" Shocked doesn't even begin to cover what I'm feeling now. I'm surprised, excited and scared because deep down I feel that he's going to end up hurting me somehow, but I was willing to take the risk.

" Alright James you want this?" I hoped like hell that he wasn't just saying things to say them

"Absolutely." Thank god, all the air I was holding in whooshed from my lungs.

"Good because what I have planned in mind next was surely going to get us both killed".

James looked at the door

"I know your there mom, stop eavesdropping and come in". I was in shock at how beautiful this woman was, and she was excited, you could tell because she was bouncing on the balls of her feet when she opened the door.

"Are you really pregnant i'm going to be a grandma" she was near on shouting but as excited as she was, she was giving James this look,

"As much as this pleases me, James you should have been more careful". I immediately went to defend him,

"He was careful but things happen". She looked at me, and then looked at James and said " do your parents know Andromeda?" And my heart sank because I knew he wouldn't be this happy. I could see the color drain from James's face. She knew Immediately that I hadn't told him yet.

"Well what are you waiting for, go tell your father this news " she was looking at me expectantly and I didn't disappoint

"Come on James let's go, you did this to me so your coming along, if I'm going to die so are you" He gulped and stood up and gave me his hand. It was time to face the devil.
