All the cgi lined up waiting for the ghouls to come and face us. I looked to my shoulder some of the men where standing scared shitless but most of them where determined to win. But in just a few seconds I could see masks it was hard to figure out what they where from this far away. All the ghouls behind the masks where In 2 large groups each group on top of 1 building. The 1st group had a red mask and the 2nd group had a brownish mask. SFFFF!! The sound of the whistle blew and the red and brown masks jumped from the buildings. The cgi scattered everywhere finding positions and killing ghouls rapidly. Ghouls and CGI where everywhere I saw people I worked with dying and falling to the ground. "DO SOMETHING DONT JUST STAND THERE!" A man said next to me shooting masks coming near us "GOT IT" I yelled back I looked around finding a target I spotted a red mask coming closer to me fast with a green kagune. I fired my gun at the masked ghoul and shot the ghoul dropped to the ground. Why does this feel so wrong? I should stop fighting I don't want to do this the reason I'm here is to look for my friend not kill ghouls. I have to leave I don't want to be this close to the battle this is not my real job. I stared at the ghoul on the ground dead i lifted my head to see more and more ghouls that could pounce on me any second wasting more time. My feet walked backward my eyes still facing on the red and brown masks who could pounce Any second. I took my chances and turned around and ran from this area immediately I ran and ran and ran I looked behind me every step I took. Surprisingly they did not pounce but they could I kept running i wasn't as scared as I was from the start. I looked around trying to find a street with less ghouls or an ally nothing catches my eye at the moment with cgi and ghouls behind me distracting me nothing was there for me to hide from this battle at the moment. I turned a right corner street and stopped to look at my surroundings no ghouls in this area but behind me where many of them willing to kill any CGI no matter who they are. I walked up the right sidewalk and kept running The ghouls where getting further from me the sound getting softer as I headed down the right corner street. The whole city was very empty barely no people in sight no one at all ahead of me. "One eyed ghoul on building 609 building 609" my earpiece repeated I jumped to the sound of it forgetting all About my earpiece being in my ear the whole time. I could use this to find where Kaneki is mainly around. But for know I just need to keep looking there's a good chance i can find him on my own.
I walked down the silent streets ahead of me and kept looking for my missing friend
