After a few minutes, the parade was over and the pain increased. I thought that my dad was gonna take me straight home but he had to run some errands. First, we had to go to his cousin's house to help with a deck. Him and some more of our friends and family took the deck apart into two boards, then they slid them onto the waiting trailer.
My dad and every one else chatted and joked around for a few minutes and I went to my dad's jeep because the pain was accelerating. When my dad came back he asked me what was wrong and I told him that I was having cramps from my cycle, he then said ' okay let's get my baby girl home'.
Soon, we got to his house which really confused me, considering that's not where I live. He got out and lifted his car's hood, and I figured he was adding fluids so his car didn't over heat. I was correct. After he finished, he went inside and quickly used the restroom and then came back to the jeep.
Fifteen minutes or so of driving, we were approaching a gas station and my dad pulled in, for he was running low on gas. It took him about eight minutes and the pain was just awful, I mean, I'm on the verge of loosing it. In my mind, I tell myself to relax so the pain will decrease some, because me tensing up isn't helping anything. My dad got back in the car and then we were off to my house. I wanna say after maybe ten minutes, we arrived at my house. I said bye to my dad, gave him a hug, and thanked him for watching me during the parade and the day before.
I then ran inside, ran straight to the bathroom, and got my pills. After i took the pills, I got a cold washcloth, went to my room and la yes down with the washcloth over my forehead. Soon I fell asleep and when I woke up I felt better, but i woke up around six p.m. so I missed going to my Aunt Judy's family gathering. I was upset that I missed the party, but I was also glade that the cramps were gone. So far they haven't come back and I hope they don't, but in case they do..I got my pills with me at all times.
