"Aren't you going to say yes?" He caress my cheeks and smiled on my shy face. Well I am too overwhelmed, I giggle.
"Brett.. well.. it's not just.. what I expected"
"So what do you expect?" he smirks
"Lemme think. Uhmm.. just maybe a piece of rose... or you know something impressive"
"So you're not saying yes here"
"Course not! I mean it's romantic"
"But not impressive?"
"Yup. Not impressive."
"Well do I still have to impress you now? Cause I'm the captain ball of a baseball team, I can also play golf; good enough to strike some quite mind-blowing business dealings. Also! This body was never been beaten up so I can protect you well. . . "
"Enough. I dont want to hear more" I laugh
"Good. Cause your parents already know that I'm your boyfriend"
"What the?! Tell me your kidding, Brett!"
He shakes his head, "I'm not"
"Jesus! I'm so dead"
Brett just laughed at me knowing that I'm really pissed. Dad must be angry to me. What am I gonna do now. Geese!
"Well your dad told me that I better be going but your mom stopped him. I like your mom" he smiled
"Brett, you're my first boyfriend. And dad must be mad at me for not telling them first"
"Wait wait.. Am I really your first boyfriend? Seriously?"
"Do I look like joking here?"
"Oh God!" He hugs me and a wide smile flashes on his face. He's obviously surprised
**Sofiaa? Sofiii?**
"Oh My God! my grandma"
I hurriedly run out of my room leaving Brett just like that. Granny can't see him now, not now.
"Granny! Hey. What a surprise"
"Darling I was so worried when your dad called me last night. How are you now?"
"Nah. It was just a minor accident Gran, nothing serious"
A hand snaking on my spine startled me
"Good morning, Ma'am. I'm Brett Wheeler, Sofia's boyfriend"
Brett offered his hand and to my surprise Granny's grinning on me.
"Oh hello young man! My granddaughter haven't mentioned that she already have a boyfriend. Nice to meet you"
"Pleasure's all mine Ma'am."
**Mom and Dad enters**
Mom: Mom! So you've met Sofia's boyfriend?
Grandma: You know about this?
Oh I'm in trouble really. My palms on my face and I can sense Brett's smirks.
Mom: Only today.
Me: Alright guys. Settle down, my turn now for a not-so-good-story-telling
Dad: Brett! Come, help me with the groceries.
Brett nods and kissed my forehead before leaving. Mom and granny's eyes, following his direction out with dad.
Granny: So? Where to start, honey?
