Fate? Or Destiny?

It was morning. The sun rose from behind the mountains. Slowly, ascending into the sky. People started to awaken from their slumber as the sun's light and warmth greeted the surface of the earth. It was indeed a beautiful day.

But not for Shirou.

He's been living a boring life. Sleep, wake up, eat, bathe, go to school, repeat. He feels that he's living an incomplete life. That there's something missing.

When he was a child, he got himself in a fight. A fight where he fought and almost killed someone for the sake of a friend. Because of that, his friend moved with her parents someplace far away.

Since that day, people have always been afraid of him. They called him evil, obnoxious, bad omen. They called him things that describe a devil.

He was walking to school, wondering "why?". When he arrived at his school, he just stared at the building.

"This is the school, huh? Lame." He said to himself. Then he decided to go inside the building.

Even though he said it's lame, in his mind, he's really hoping that he would find the missing piece that he's been looking for in this new school he's going to attend.

When he was inside, he looked around him. Then he spotted two girls talking nearby. The other girl dyed her hair neon blue and was wearing a headband with black cat ears. The other one have pink hair.

"Are you sure? He looks scary." The one with the pink hair said.

"Well, it is my duty as the student council president." The other one said nervously. Then Shirou approached them.

"He's coming this way!" The pink haired whispered in a scared voice.

"Hey!" Said Shirou in a cold voice.

"Y-yes?" Said the neon blue haired.

"Take me to where I can get my schedule." Shirou said demandingly.

"S-sure!" She said nervously. "Right this way."

"Um... What's your name?" The pink haired said with a trembling voice.

"Shirou." He replied in a scary voice.

"Uh... N-nice to meet you. I'm Ruby and this is Erika." Said the pink haired while pointing at the neon blue haired.

"Erika, huh?" He said in a cold voice while staring at Erika's face. "I'm gonna call you Neko-senpai."

When he said it, Ruby looked away and laughed hard but silently while trying to cover her mouth with both of her hands.

"Eh? It's because of the cat ears, isn't it? And why senpai? We're like... In the same age, you know.." Erika said.

"I do what I want." Said Shirou with a bored expression.

After walking for a short moment, they stopped in front of a room.

"Here we are." Ruby said. Then Shirou opened the door and entered the room. Erika and ruby was shocked by what he did.

"C-c-can you at least knock first!?! It's the councilor's office!" Erika said in a panicky voice.

"Uh... How can I help you?" The councilor said nervously.
