Courage

I woke up.
Light flooding my room ,
Conquering each tint of gloom...
Reflecting light on the tiniest of details ,
The frest scar on face,
Shouting aloud,
There's nothing left to embrace !

Hey there bully!
The paleness of my cheek,
Does really turn me a geek?
Those bags under my eyes,
Are they enough to pray for my demise?
All those pimples, all those freckles,
Are they enough to tell me off?
Are they enough to chain me with shackles?

I assume that you are all blind!
With a furrow dwelling in your head,
Wronged for a mind!

You all found entertainment for your petty selves,
By making fun of my paleness,
By making fun of my agony...
But you hadn't enough courage to witness the rainbow of colours they showcased,
When they felt even a tint of felicity!

You all saw the dark circles under my eyes,
But you hadn't enough courage to see the fiery passion in them,
Whenever they were euphoric,
Whenever they felt something more than pain!

You all found fun in making me crying,
To see my tears...
But you hadn't enough courage to ask me the reason,
Or my untold fears!

You all title me as an aghast shade of blue,
But I know my bullies,
I'm smarter than you!

Even all the pain,
Isn't enough for me to refrain,
I'm sustaining,
Because I'm strong enough to sustain!

With all these thoughts I get out of my bed,
Readying myself for the tears that I haven't yet shed!

I sling my bag accross my shoulder,
Knowing that I am still strong enough to be smacked twice with a boulder!

First off Eid mubarak with a lot of virtual hugs to all my Muslim sisterzz!! Hope u all have a wonderful Eid and get a lot of Eidi too..hehe..
This is a sensitive topic but let me tell u here that I live in a country where bullying is close to being unknown.. so obviously this is not on my experiences.Just after reading bullying books,this poem came out...
