Eheh... Sorry I haven't been writing too much! I would give an excuse but I'm just lazy. ON WIV DA STORY!

I pretty much just kept wandering the streets till the sun started setting. I was pretty tired of asking people for help then quickly shut down. Tears started welling in my eyes as the sun began to set. I just want to go home. Heh... How weird would that look. A homeless girl with rainbow hair. I sniffled and sat down on the sidewalk. Could this day get any better.
*plop*
A rain drop fell on my head.
Note to self, Shelby, never say that again.
I huddled into my thin hoodie. The rain was really heavy. A couple wavered in front of me. 'Should we give her some money?' 'Sweetheart-' 'Look at her Jacob!' 'Come on Kara, they'd probably just spend it on alcohol-' Jacob! She looks 16!' The woman went up to me. 'Hello miss. Lovely weather isn't it?' I chuckled. The lady laughed. 'And actually, I'm twenty. Do I look that young?' I inquired. She blushed. ' Oh, you heard that. Heh... Well my fiancé here was reluctant to, but here's twenty five dollars. That's all I had in my wallet, sorry.' She said, handing me two notes.
I had to stop my mouth from dropping. 'Woah... Um thanks, but I can't-' 'Heard it all before! Take it, I insist.' She said, and pressed the notes in my palm. 'Thank you so much! You have no idea!' I said. With this, I could totally get a bus back! I stood up and hugged her. She grinned. 'No problem. Oh, gotta rush, need to get our Uber!' She said. I waved as she and her fiancé.
It gives me hope for America when I meet people like that.
This is short but fuck I'm tired
