September 7th

Her Side
The bell rang once. Then after another 15 minutes, it rings a second time. After the second time, it no longer rang anymore.

Just a few moments before, a voice was heard down a street. A girl, perhaps maybe talking to herself?

"Stupid alarm!! Why didn't you wake me up? Now I'm late!" She complained while finishing up her half-burnt toast.

First bell, rings.

"Almost there!" She said, relieved.

Arriving in front of a huge building, she let out sigh before opening the front door.

Second bell, rings.

The beginning of school started once again.

His Side

He stands at the same spot every single day, under a tree, waiting for her.

However, she never showed up. Every time she passes that tree he has already left.

He's never been late to school, and the one who gets good grades.

Not to mention, he's also good looking. Everyone girl likes him, except her.

"Miss Oh. Is she here?"

No response.

Before the teacher was about to send a detention slip to the office, the door swung open, revealing a girl with dark brown hair and black framed glasses.

"Well Miss Oh. Be grateful that I am going to let you off the hook this time. Only this time. Please go to the empty desk at the back."

She smiles, and hurries to the last remaining desk.

He smiles to himself, thinking of how lucky he was. Any girl would have been chosen to go to the desk beside him.

But it was her who sat beside him now.

Y/N P.O.V.

I was so relieved that I didn't have to go to detention. Although I've been there so many times, that it doesn't really effect me anymore.

"How lucky!" a girl whispered to her friend.

"I want to sit where she sits!"

"Why can't I be the one who sits beside him?"

How annoying. Always going on about Mark.

I happen to even sit beside him, for one whole year! At least this is my last year.

//No One's P.O.V.\\

All the girls in the school liked Mark. All except one.

On a daily basis, Mark is surround by girls, begging him to go out with one of them.

No matter how many girls ask, or how pretty the girls are, he only has his eyes on one girl.

11:15 am

Y/N's P.O.V.

"See you the next time you have history . Class dismissed." The teacher said before packing up her books.

History class is so boring. I have no clue what the teacher was trying to say- no it's more like I don't understand anything.

After packing my text books, I glanced to my right only to see a sleeping Mark.

"Hey Mark.." I whispered.

"Wake up! It's lunch time!" I half-yelled in his ear, while shaking him vigorously enough for him to fall off his chair.

"Owww, that hurt! Don't act like a very hungry caveman that hasn't eaten in three years!" Mark said while rubbing his head.

"Correction, I am a female, therefore I would be a cave WOMAN." I said after helping Mark up.

"What time is it?" Mark said while rubbing his eyes.

"11:20. 5 minutes past lunch time." I answered.

"Did I.. Did I sleep through history?" Mark asked before linking his arm onto mine.

"Hmm I think so? Nice one, without getting caught, and another thing, please don't touch me like you're my younger brother." I said when I was prying his arm off of mine.

Pshhh. The teacher just likes him because he has good grades.

"It's not fair you know. Every time I fall asleep in history class, I always get detention. The teacher just hates me. I don't know what I did to her." I said.

"Probably because you are UGLY." Mark laughed hysterically.

That's why I don't know what other people see in Mark.

Before I was about to punch him, girls from the cafeteria started pulling Mark towards their table.

Wanting to get revenge, I slip my foot in front of his, and my plan succeeded.

"Ha. Serves you right!" I said, then stuck out my tongue.

I then left him in despair.

I start my scavenger hunt, trying to find a empty seat in the cafeteria.

Luckily, my usual spot wasn't taken. Well I mean. It was near the garbage cans. Not that I don't mind the smell.

I look over and see Mark running over to my table, calling me a meanie and a bully.

"I told you. You deserve it." I said.

I went back to eating my lunch, when few moments later, I feel a pair of eyes staring right at me.

"Um Mark? Why do you keep staring at me?" I asked.

"Because I like you." Mark said with a smile.
