"I do not believe you!" I laughed at my friend Carter who trailed behind me.
"Well you better believe me!" he exclaimed, "I want to be a weather man !"
I just giggled and kept braiding my hair. He began to laugh behind me setting a smile onto my face.
"You know, you would be a very sexy weather girl," he joked.
I slowly looked back at him with my mouth slightly open to see the blonde smirking at me.
"You're such a perv Carter!"
"Only for you !" he said mimicking my voice.
"Get a life," I joked nudging his tall frame into a wall. We started walking towards the doors that lead to the parking lot wanting to get out of this school. Carter opened the door for me, bowing his head as though I were royalty.
"Why thank you dear servant," I praised him while poking his nose.
"You're quite welcome dear Princess," he responded.
The sun met my face sending warmth over my body.
I skipped the rest of the way to his car laughing to myself. Today had been a pretty good day but I still feel like Im missing something.
"Spencer wait !" I heard from right behind me.
"What's wrong ? am I walking to fast for you ?" I joked. I turned on my heal only to come into contact with the tall blonde.
"Sorry Carter," I sighed.
"Don't be," he said placing a hand on the small of my back.
"What are you doing ..."
"What I should have done a long time ago."
He leaned down slowly, placing his lips onto mine sending warmth throughout my stomach. I lifted my hand onto his cheek feeling his stubble on my fingertips.
This is what I've been missing.
