We sat there and hugged. Neither one of is wanted to let go. I looked up to see him looking down at me. Our eyes met and I let out a giggle. He lift me in the air and our lips met. I rested my hands on his head as we continued kissing. He let me down gently as or lips are still together. He smiles. "April I really have to go or my dad will kill me." I gave off a loud sigh and let go of his neck. " I will miss you o much!" I said holding his hands. " I will too, ill call you." I nodded and we let go of each other's hand and he started running down the hill. I pulled out My phone and looked at the time. It was 11:53 and I had to be home at  12:00. I ran the opposite way. If I didn't make it home in time my mother would be furious. I got at the end of my street it was 11:58. Why did my street have to be so long! I made it to the house at 12:01. The lights were out. "At least she won't know", I said under my breathe. Suddenly the lights came on and my mother was sitting in a chair in the center of the room. Her eyes were red and bagging and she had a disgusting odor. I could tell she'd been drinking. "Your Late", She said in a grudging voice. "Only one minute." "I said for you to be home at 12:00. It is 12:01." I'm sorry but me and Luke were.." "I don't care what you and Luke did!" She got up and walked toward me. I bagged up against the wall. She stopped in front of me and laughed as she swung her fist and it clashed against my cheek throwing me to the ground. I layed there and cried as she walked away. "Your nothing but a weak rat", She said closing her room door. I layed there for awhile holdings my swollen cheek. I struggled to get up forcing myself to walk to my room. I was used to her hitting me. Eventually you learn to shake it off.
