"While on patrol one day, an officer discovered a car had swerved of road and into a tree."
Ladybug broke out into tears. Her parents were dead. She didn't even give them a proper goodbye. "Chat.........could you..........help me out of........here." She sobbed into his shoulder. Chat positioned her on his back and bolted out of the police station. He came to a stop on Marinette's balcony. "Why did you bring me here?" She asked coldly.
Chat's ears drooped as he opened the hatch and set Ladybug on her bed. "This is your room isn't it?"
Right now she didn't even care if her identity was revealed, nothing seemed to matter at the moment. "Yeah." She laughed sadly.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked.
Ladybug broke. She squeezed Chat in her arms and let all her uncried tears flow out. "They're gone." Marinette let her transformation go. Tiki popped out of her earnings and went downstairs to give the two teens their privacy.
Chat cradled the hurt and confused girl in his arms. She offered him a forced smile before lieing down on her comforter and unwillingly drifting off. The blonde boy covered her up then let his transformation go as well. "Plagg, what am I going to do? She...her parents.......they..."
Plagg sighed and shook his head. "Give her time Adrien. Scars don't heal in a day." He said before following Tiki downstairs. Adrien was left to himself and his thoughts.
He wanted to be happy that the mysterious midnight-haired girl in his class was his partner and best friend. He wanted to be happy that the beautiful and strong Ladybug was his talented and kind princess. But he couldn't. Because they were suffering. Because she was suffering. And it tore his heart in two.
Adrien leaned closer to Marinette's sleeping figure. "I'm so sorry. I-If I wasn't at your house then you could've said goodbye to them." He hung his head in shame as tears rolled down his sun-kissed cheeks. "I'm so so sorry Marinette."
"Stupid cat." The bluenette mumbled in her sleep.
