Your (E/C) eyes sparkled with excitement as you ran along the dock, skillfully dodging the crowds. A wide, happy smile etched in your face as you came to a stop in front of the most beautiful boat You had ever seen in your life.

"Alice! Look at this wonderful ship! It's a beauty, isn't it? Oh, how I wish we could step foot on her beautiful wooden deck!" Your hands clasped together in front your mouth, continuing to gaze upon the marvelous beauty before you.

Alice stepped next to your side. A small smile adorned her face.

'He's been out of the hospital for only three days and already is acting like his normal self.' the blonde happily thought to herself.

"Well, why don't we go up on her then? After all, it is our ship." Alice turned towards you, giggling slightly. Your eyes widened even more as you began to process the new information received.

"Wait, that's our ship?!" you yelled excitedly, looking back and forth between Alice and the boat, making sure she was telling the truth. Alice nodded in confirmation, only making you ecstatic.

Your hand immediately intertwined with hers as you dragged her across the dock and running onto the ship, letting go of Alice' hand as you began to run around the ship, inspecting every book and cranny the you could. Every ship and crack at the sides. Every control, making sure they were working properly. Alice remembered how much you loved boats. Your knowledge on the mighty vessels of the water grew beyond even her own. She loved to have you on board whenever she went on voyages for extra help and even how to do some things that she never even thought twice about.

You ran back over to the blonde woman wrapping your arms around her. You were almost as tall as her, just maybe five or six inches shorter.

"This has been the best day ever. Thank you so much Alice." You spoke with a hushed voice, only loud enough for the both of you to hear. Alice' eyes welled with tears as she hugged you back, whispering a small 'You're welcome'.

The two stood in the embrace until (M/N) decided that it was enough contact and stepped away. Alice took the smaller boy's hand and led him off the ship, very much to his dismay as he wasn't done exploring. His spirits were soon brought up again as his sister took him to his most favorite restaurant in the world. As you two enjoyed your meal, a man that Alice recognized to well waltzed in, coming to a direct stop at your table.

"Hello Alice. Glad to see you looking as pretty as ever." the man spoke with a nasaled voice. Alice grimaced and turned to him.

"Lord Reginald." she simply greeted with a glare and a scowl on her face.
You watched with a curious eye. Was this Alice' fiancee? Or was it a close friend? You couldn't say for sure, since you thought you've never met this man a day in your life before.

The so called 'Lord Reginald' turned to you and smiled.

"Dear (M/N)! I'm glad to see you looking so lively and cheerful!" He exclaimed with a falsed happiness. You rose an eyebrow at him and rest your arms on the table.

"How do you know my name? I have never met you not a day in my life before so I would like to know how you know me." you calmly spoke with a slight glare, eyeing him up and down. Something about this man rubbed you the wrong way, and you didn't like it one bit.

Reginald was taken aback by your coldness. He tried to ask follow-up questions, but Alice had cut him of before he could get a word out.

"What are you here for?" she bluntly asked, taking a drink of her water. Reginald turned back to her, still wary and confused how you could not remember him. He pulled out an envelope and set it on the table as he got into an unnecessary long explanation about how there was a party honoring him for becoming the next successor. You groaned and stood up.

"Fine, we'll be there, as long as you shut up!" you snapped, glaring at him even more. Alice nodded in agreement with the words you spoke. Reginald huffed before rudely saying 'Hope to see you there' and walked out of the door. You sighed and sat back down drinking your water with an annoyed look spread across your face.

Neither Alice or you spoke as you were both annoyed and irritated that you we're going to a party for a man neither of you liked very well. The walk home was silent still.

"Mother, why do we have to go if neither of us like this man? This is the first I've seen of him and he is already a nuisance to me. I can tell Alice doesn't like him much and I can tell you don't either. So what is even the point?" You complained as you finished tying the tie around your neck, feeling as if it were cutting off all circulation in your neck. Your mother gave you a short, curt reply, only making you huff angrily.

You all loaded into the carriage and headed towards Lord Reginald's home.

Oh, how splendidly fun this shall be.
