Chapter 2

Link P.O.V.:

I woke up to hear "HEY!" in a hurriedly manner. I got up quick and looked out the window. I saw the young ones waving their arms and Beth yelled, "Link, hurry! Emergency!" I ran downstairs and jumped over the ladder, landing on the ground with a thud. I ran after the young ones to the spring where Ilia had been tending an unconscious girl. I ran over to her and asked "who is she?" "I don't exactly know. I've never seen her here before." I kneeled down next to her and looked at her. She had brown hair with blonde streaks and a piece of blonde hair fell in front of her right eye. She had a necklace of the triforce around her neck. "Well, she's definitely from Hyrule. Look." I said as I pointed to her necklace. Ilia picked up her necklace to get a closer look. I was studying her face when she started to open her eyes and groan. "Ugh, what happened?" she said as she put her hand up then rubbed her head. She fully opened her eyes and she gazed at me in wonderment. "Link?" she asked and I was shocked at her knowledge of me. "How do you know my name?" I questioned, confused due to the fact that I have no idea who she is and she knows who I am. " I... I don't know. I had a dream about you." she said, but I wasn't exactly sure that was the truth. Her eyes met mine and her eyes were grey on the inside and faded to a dark blue on the outside. I blushed and looked over to the horse grass and walked over to it. The sweet, melodic echoed through the spring as I blew into the end. Hooves thundered through the gate and in walked Epona, a brown and white horse that's mane was flowing in the wind. Ilia admired her, but she was my horse. She trotted over to me and I petted her. "Wow, Epona!" I turn to see her standing their in awe of Epona. "What's your name?" I asked. At least I know something about her. "Riley. Can I ride her?" she giddied with excitement. "Sure, be my guest." I yawned as I gestured her to the horse. First, she turned the horse towards the gate. Then, she stepped back still looking at the horse. She got a running start and yelled "See you later!" and hops on the horse from behind, giving it a running start. "HEY!" I exclaimed at her knowledge of riding a horse and started to run after her.

RILEY P.O.V.:

I hopped on the horse and said "See you later!" I turned left over towards the bridge. I was going to Hyrule Castle to see if Zelda can help me figure out how I got here. Then, I realized that Link and Zelda were good acquaintances and that it would be easier if I got into Hyrule Castle with Link. I stopped Epona and got off and petted her. I heard a sweet, melodic sound that echoed through the field, which told me that Epona was being called by Link. " Oh no, Epona!" I ran over to her and before I could jump on her, she galloped away. I took one last look at the castle and I saw something moving in the distance. I squinted to see if I can get a better view. I then realized that it was a Molbin, a goblin-like creature that's will try to kill you. I started to run the other way and I heard a whizzing noise coming from both directions. I saw an arrow land right next to my foot. I sprinted as fast as I could when I heard a squealing noise behind me. I looked over my shoulder and see a dead moblin laying there, then it evaporated like in the game. I hear the galloping of a horse and a whizzing noise. I look over there and it's Link on Epona with a bow and arrow getting ready to shoot. I stood there as he aimed at me. He exclaimed, "RUN!" but I just stood frozen in fear. He aimed and shot, then I heard a squealing noise and I turned around to see a Moblin laying on the ground and evaporated into thin air. I whipped back around and saw Epona with Link's hand extended out to me. "Can you take me to Princess Zelda? I'm from a different world and Princess Zelda will know how to send me back." He nodded in agreement when I took his hand, he pulled me up behind him on Epona.
