Chapter 22: Funeral

Chris POV. 1 Month Later

Today is Onika's funeral, the place was packed . I was holding Royalty , Lylah , and Jeremiah with Papi and Nylah sitting beside me I couldn't focus everybody was crying and weeping .

Ny: Daddy I'm not gonna see her again

I kissed her forehead as she cried on my shoulder .

"Chris would you like to say something"

I nodded my head passing the babies to their siblings and going up to the podium sighing .

"Onika was a great women, my everything actually she took me in when I was homeless me and my daughter. She blessed me with 6 beautiful kids , and we will always know she looking over us and protecting us. She was taken away from us but we know she will always love up and we will always love her", I broke down crying going back to Sig down .The kids were crying uncontrollably so I took them to the car until they were done with the funeral .

P: Dad?

"Yes Pap, what's up"

P: Are you gonna move on and find someone else?

"Nope! I'm gonna take care of ME and ONIKA kids and leave it at that", Once the funeral was done we said our goodbyes and went to the house .

Ny: Daddy can we go to the backyard when night time come ? I wanna talk to mommy .

"Of course in the mean time come eat", I fed them and made them all lay down for a nap .

NightTime 9:00

Were all laying on the trampoline looking up at the stars taking our turns talking .

Ny: Mommy I miss you...I know your looking over me but I love you .

Ly+J: We love you to mommy

"Go ahead Pap", He sighed and wiped his tears .

P: Momma I don't know what I'll do without you, you took me from a bad situation and cared for me. I love you and I promise to become a man and look after our family .

Before I could talk she appeared we all gasped she had the most beautiful white wings , the blew us a kiss and waved soon disappearing .

Ny: Daddy what was that ?

"That was Onika....Our Guardian Angel".
