Chapter One

I got out of the car giving my father a man hug and then moved to give my mother a hug. I tried to get my mother off of me but she wouldn't budge. " Ok Melissa give Tyler back his air" my father said. She let go and I mouthed a thank you to my father. I turned and walked up to the airport door I stopped and looked back at both my parents mouthing a' I love you' , and then I started back into the building Once I got through all the long line to get inside the actual airport part I walked towards the area where I'll board the plane and took a seat.

As you may know today's the day I go to Australia to study wildlife for a future career. I had to practically beg my mom to let me go because she would miss me and that she's very protective. I walked over-

"ELI GET BACK HERE AND GIVE YOU MOTHER A KISS!!" Some crazed woman yelled. I looked up to see a boy with speed walking away from the checking station. He sat across from me and pulled out his iPhone playing around with it. I looked over towards the check out line to see his mother being carried away by security guards. I looked a back at ...... Eli I think his name was and taped his foot with mine.

"Hey dude, what's your problem I'm not here to be playing footsy with you." He snapped. I rolled my eyes and pointed to his struggling mother. He looked over his shoulder as shrugged." That's not my mother" he said and then put in his ear phones. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes taking a nap until they call me to board.

"Every one boarding flight 44534 to Australia please board your plane" I heard the lady say on the intercom. I quickly woke up breathing heavily causing people to start staring. I got out of my seat and walked to the line handing the woman my ticket. I walked down the aisle until I entered the plane sitting down in the number of my seat. Luckily I had a window seat so whoever sits next to me won't bother me as much. About 20 minutes later everyone was boarded on the plane and they were going over the planes guidelines. Some blonde girl ended up siting next to me,she was very pretty but I wasn't interested.

I ended up falling asleep on the plane. Missing all the movies and them handing out snacks and drinks. Gosh I needed a drink, planes just made me so nervous, and it's a long flight from New York to Australia.

All of a sudden the plane starting to shake earning a few people to start asking what was going on. One of the flight attendants stood in the middle of the unstable plane gathering everyone's attention.

"Excuse me, may I have everyone's attention please. The plane will shake because of the clouds, as of now all we know is that we will be flying through a rain storm." She told us, but then the plane started to shake rapidly causing the flight attendants to fall over and the carts falling spilling everything. Then the plane started to spin in circles causing everyones luggage to fall out. I glanced out of the window to see tornadoes of water. And What I see next is the water coming up from the ocean spinning around the plane. The only thing you could hear were the screams of people.

Then all of a sudden the water started to gather up into the plane. The people in the front of the plane struggling to get out of there seat belts. I climbed out of mine and helped the girl get out of hers. About 6 of us were huddled in the back trying to get out of the water.

" GET THE LIFE BOAR OPEN GET IT OPEN!!!" I heard the blonde girl yell. I was hesitant at first but dived under the water trying to get the life boat out. I pulled the lever only to be knocked in the face by the lifeboats pressure. Then everything went black and I floated to the top. The last sound I hear is of people screaming.

I gasp hard waking up from what seemed like a deep sleep. I open my eyes slowly seeing only brightness. I look around once my eyes are fully open seeing a grassland .....well what I think is a grassland. It feels like grass but it's not green. It was red. The trees were red. The sky was blue, so I guess that's a good sign. I stood up to get a better view of where I am but it only made my headache get worse.
