Harrison arrived at the scene. There was Jay, still on the couch, but screaming and writhing around in pain. His eyes were rolled back in his head and sweat was pouring down his face. Harrison watched in horror, he didn't know what to do. All he could think about was the nightmare he just had. Was it coming true? Harrison tried to calm down, he knew that he needed to help Jay in any way he can, but he could see that Jay needed a doctor and Harrison didn't know if he would survive if he took him in, so he rushed to his phone and dialed 911.

"911, what is the nature of your emergency?" A woman answered.

"I need an ambulance here right now", Harrison was panicking, "My brothers sick and he's shaking and he isn't stopping! I don't know what to do!"

"Ok, try to keep calm sir," the woman replied,"An ambulance is coming right now."

Harrison hung up the phone and rushed to his brother. He grabbed Jay's shaking arm tightly. He felt Jay's arm burning, it hurt to touch it. Harrison realized that Jay's fever has spiked.

"Hang on, just, hang on Jay," Harrison spoke in Jay's ear, "I'm right here. Someone's coming to help you and you're going to be alright," Harrison felt a tear running down his cheek, "Please, don't leave me Jay!"

..................

Almost 10 minutes later, the ambulance arrived. Harrison got up as the paramedics rushed in and went to Jay, who was still trembling.

"He hasn't stopped shaking!" Harrison yelled to one of the paramedics.

"We'll give him a tranquilizer, and that will hopefully calm him down a bit," the paramedic replied.

Harrison watched as the needle went into Jay's arm. Seconds later, Jay was lying still, breathing heavily. Harrison felt a little relief. He watched the paramedics as they strapped Jay to the stretcher, hook an IV to his arm, and lift him into the ambulance to rush him to the hospital. The head paramedic came up to Harrison.

"You can follow us to the hospital in your car," he said, "a paramedic will ride with him in case he has another episode."

Harrison nodded and went to his car.

...............

Harrison arrived at the hospital. The receptionist at the front desk informed him that the doctor was with Jay right now, and to wait in the waiting room until he was ready to talk with him. Harrison nodded and went to the waiting room.

................

It has been almost an hour since Harrison arrived. He waited anxiously for some news. He tried to think of all the possibilities of what could be wrong with Jay. He tried to think positive, but it was impossible. Harrison couldn't help but to blame himself. If he would have responded when he first noticed Jay's abnormal behavior, none of this probably wouldn't have happened. I've put my brother in danger, he feared, I didn't react when he wasn't feeling well, and now he might not make it. Harrison was sobbing. I'm so sorry, Jay!

..................

An hour and a half later, the doctor came out. Harrison was scared.

"How is he," he asked nervously, "is he alright?"

The doctor looked at his clipboard then at Harrison, "I don't know. He's exhausted from shaking all morning, which wasn't a seizure, but convulsions from the fever, so I let him sleep while we put some fluids in him to try and get his fever down. He is severely dehydrated, which made the fever go up to 107°F, but hopefully it will decline a bit once the fluids are in his system. Has he had any other symptoms the past couple of days?"

"He's been really tired," Harrison replied, "And he's been vomiting a lot, and a high fever."

The doctor looked at his clipboard again, "Well, I might have a pretty good idea about what he has, but we'll have to run some tests to make sure. Any other questions?"

Harrison shook his head, "Am I allowed to see him?"

"Yes," the doctor replied, "But try not to wake him."

Harrison nodded, thanked the doctor, and headed to Jay's hospital room.

................

Harrison looked in the window. Jay was sound asleep, with tubes pumping IV fluids in his arms. Harrison took a deep breath, went in and walked towards Jay.

He sat down in the chair beside the bed and looked at Jay. Harrison felt like all he could do now was pray that Jay would fight whatever this illness is, and beat it. He scooted up closer to Jay, crying.

"Jay," his voice hitched,"you've got to fight this battle, and win. Not only for me, but for yourself and all of our fans. If you leave, there won't be anymore TwinCoconuts, no more making people happy, no more doing what we love together," tears were running down Harrison's face, "I'm not ready for you to go! Don't do this, Jay! Fight!"

Harrison gathered himself together. He didn't wake Jay. He felt like he needed to go home and cry it all out. He gathered up his things. He would come back tomorrow with all of Jay's things. Harrison then wiped his tears away, walked out of the room, and went home.
