Haley's POV

"Who does it looks like?" She scoffed folding her arms, I could hear the sarcasm in her voice, same old her but she has changed. Not in look ways, she wasn't dressed like a slut, but her tone of voice and her eyes we're just different.

"What are you doing here? " I placed my hand on my hip. I'm glad I got dressed and everything because I wouldn't want her to see me looking as a mess. I used to be comfortable around her, as much as I want to hate her I can't. She was my best friend, she was kissing my boyfriend and didn't even apologize or talk to me.

"Who is it?" Ross walked over confused. I saw Rose's eyes widen and she smirked, "I'm Haley's old friend Rose! I'm guessing you're Ross?" She battered her eyelashes and jealousy flood through me.

Ross shifted when he recognized the name, I've told him about her before. Rose flicked her hair attempting to "flirt". Ross' hand fell on my hip making me feel more reassured.

"Ell, come here a second." Ross spoke and Rose's face dropped and turned pale when Ellington appeared. "What- oh it's you." His voice suddenly became angry and annoyed. I knew what he was thinking.

'What was this bitch doing here? She was the girl who hurt my baby sister.'

"I came to talk to Haley, now if you-"

"I don't want to talk to you." I snapped feeling the urge to cry wash over me. Haley stay strong, hold yourself together! But all the feelings and memories about Kevin came washing back.

No! Think about Ross, he's per- well he cheated on me too. But he didn't mean to, he was drunk... So was Kevin. No! Kevin is a douchebag, Ross tells me he still feels guilty about what he did. They're two completely different people... Either way they both hurt me.

"Stop being a bitch and listen!" She snapped. "Hey just leave we don't want to start anything here... " Ellington stood forward while Ross' grip tightened around my hips pushing me to the side a little.

"You can't tell me what to do! You're jut some pathetic boy who used to love me but you have no chance with anyone!!" Oh the asshole just crossed the border.

"Don't EVER COME BACK HERE, NOBODY WANTS YOU HERE BITCH!!! Supposedly you were my "best friend" I can't believe you! Making out with my boyfriend and now you're saying things about my brother! He's way better than you will ever be, and he's wayyyyy better than you in every way. Oh and asshole why don't you go say that to his GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!"

I watches her face drop before my tears took over. I pushed my way through everybody and shut my bedroom door locking it behind me. My main focus wasn't Rose, it wasn't about anything to do with her. But just the fact that both Ross and Kevin hurt me... I know it happened a while ago, but I guess I just never thought of it like this.

There was a knock at my door about 5 minutes later. "Haley... Please can I come in?" Ross' voice made me tense. I love him but I hate him. "Go away. " I sobbed, I sound like a bitch but I'm still upset.

"Please... She's gone-"

"She's not my problem." There was a few minutes of silence before there was another voice.

"Can we talk..." Ellington whispered and I gulped. I need my brother at this moment.

I unlocked the door and pulled it open only a crack, straight away I faced a sad Ross who also looked confused.

"Come here." Ell whispered as the door shut behind him. He pulled me in for a tight hug and I sobbed in his chest. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I-i just... Why did he hurt me? I know it's passed b-but why?" I cried attempting to keep my voice low.

"Who Hal, who?" He softly ran his hands through my hair.

"R-ross... "

Ross' POV

"Who Hal, who?"
