Always On My Mind

Chapter One

Hi , I'm Kiersey Clemons I'm 17 years old. I live with my abusive parents in a huge house. My neighbor is one of my best friends. His name is Jordan , he is 19 so I usually sneak to his house just to have long talks with him and his girlfriend. She's also one of my best friends ever. I have a crush on Jordan but my real crush is Trevor. He is 18 and we talk sometimes but I don't think he likes me. He always opens my texts and doesn't reply...it hurts my heart but.. Anyway.

I got out of my bed and walked over to my two door closet. I opened it and began searching for any thing I thought was decent enough to go to Jordan's house. I finally decided on a blue and black plaid long sleeved shirt. I wore some black tights with my black and blue Jordan's. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair. I put my contacts in , I'm so glad I don't have to wear glasses anymore..anyway I walked down stairs to see my dad drinking a beer on the couch.

"Hey you ugly bitch go get me another beer"he yelled while throwing his empty beer bottle at me.

I ducked and it slammed against the wall. It shattered to the ground. I ran into the kitchen where my mom was laughing at how I almost got hit. I just ignored her and walked to the fridge. I grabbed one of his beers and closed the door. As soon as I turned around I felt a sharp pain in my side. My mom had stabbed me in lower rib and it hurt like hell. I stayed strong and walked out the door. It was kind of a long walk up the path to Jordan's house so ripped my sleeves and put it around my waist to stop the blood.

I walked into my "second home"..it might as well be my only home..
I walked into the living room and Trevor was sitting on the couch. I went and sat beside him.But he didn't pay me any mind. I scooted away because I felt embarrassed. I grabbed my iPhone 6 and texted Jordan.

J:yeah sis ?

K:can y'all come in here? It's really awkward Trev is just..not even talking to me☹️

J:Sure baby girl❤️

It took a few minutes for them to come in the room. While I waited I layer on the floor.

"Why are you on the floor? I don't bite😉" Trev said with a wink.

"Yeah well you don't talk either." I said looking up at him.

"Well I'm sorry come si-"he was interrupted by Jordan and Zendaya walking in.

I stood up and ran to Jordan. He picked me up and spun me around s few time then pooled me into a hug. He hugged me so tight I felt like nothing else mattered. Felt the same since I was 10. His hugs meant the world to me especially when my ex boyfriend Ross.

"Hey boo , feels like I haven't seen you in forever even though I saw you two days ago..😂 So wh-"he paused and looked at my side"Kiersey what happened??"he asked with wide eyes.

"I'll go get the first aid kit!" Daya said running to the bathroom.

Trevor ran over to me and grabbed my hand then pulled me into a hug. My face was in his neck,and even though my side was killing me I was enjoying this moment so much.

"Who did this to you baby?" He asked looking deeply into my eyes

"My parents" I whispered looking down .

I could see the answer in Trev's eyes.

"I'm staying here for the rest of the summer .. You should too. Because if I find out about this happening again,somebody's gonna get hurt." He said , when he has that tone he's very serious.

"Jordan? Would you let me?"I asked hopefully

"I would love for you to stay here boo"he said giving me a hug.

Zendaya walked in with the first aid kit and patched me up.
Tomorrow we'll go get my stuff and I'll move into a house with my bestfriend and my all time crush
