Chapter 1

A/N Hey it's me. Just so you know i'm not that great at writing so please be patient with me. I got the idea from some post on Instagram so I did not create the idea I just changed it a little thanks guys!

"Emma come on your gonna be late for school and you don't want to be late for the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks." "I'm up, i'm up. Go away Carrie." I mumbled through closed teeth."How many hours did you get last night?" Carrie asked me, sounding bored. Mom probably made her come wake me up or she wouldn't have even bothered to get me."I don't know, what time is it?" honestly, I wanted to go back to sleep."It's 7:30 you have 15 minutes to get ready before the bus comes hurry up." Ok maybe the 4 hours I got last night is better than the 2 I usually get but the sleeping pills aren't working. I get dressed and head down to breakfast. "There you are sweetie, how'd you sleep last night?" "Wonderfully" I lied in an attempt to keep mom off my back. "Okay sweetie but remember we can always tell the doctor if you need-" "No mom i'm fine it's just a bad habit." "Okay that's fine I was just suggesting. So, Emma your 16th birthday is this Saturday, all you have to do is make it through today and tomorrow and then it's your birthday!" "I know but we can't talk right now it's time to go love you." "Love you girls see you when you get home!" She called after us.

"Hey Shelby!" "Hey Emma guess whose birthday is in 3 days!?" She said with pure excitement. Shelby is one of my 3 best friends. Our group consists of Me, Shelby, Jack, and Liam. "My birthday I know." "Aren't you excited? Your going to be 16. You can get your drivers license and your love necklace! I can't wait till i'm 16!" "Yeah I can't wait for those but please don't make a big deal out of this!" I know she will. "Who do you think my soul mate is? Someone here or maybe someone I don't know yet?" "I don't know Emma but I wish I was turning 16 soon so I could find out who i'm meant to be with." "Well bye Shelby I need to go to Science." "Bye Emma see ya."
