Chapter 4

"Let me see what it is guys!" "No Emma it's for your own good that you don't." Shelby said, looking troubled "Why what is it." I say, trying to fight out of Liam and Jack's grip. "Nothing Emma let's just get you home." "No!" I argue, struggling but almost making it free. "Let go of me!" "Emma calm down it's not that important." "If it's not important then why can't I see?" "Because we want to tell you about it first. How about we go out to the car and get some fresh air." They say, obviously trying to soothe me. "Okay fine." I agreed, warily. Walking out I craned my neck to the side trying to get a view through everyone when I saw them. The thing everyone was whistling about.

"Why didn't you let me go in there and interrupt them?!" I asked in rage. They knew I saw Jason kissing Katie when we were leaving at that moment. "Were you ever going to actually tell me or were you going to make up some lie to cover it and let me keep dating a cheater?" I ask, showing pure hatred in my voice. "We didn't want you to get hurt so we were going to tell him to tell you because we knew that if we told you, you would never belive us." Jack says looking hurt. If anyone looked hurt it should be me. "You could have at least let me see instead of keeping something like that from me!" "We're all sorry we didn't even know until tonight. Please if you forgive us we will take you out for Pizza." Liam says. Of course Liam said that. "Okay fine but i'm going to call him and see what he does." I imply, hoping they understand. "Go ahead." Shelby says. I dial his number then we hear the front door open and close. Luckily we are in the car so he can't hear or see us. After a few rings it answers. "Hey baby." "Hey Jason what are you doing." "I'm sitting at home watching a movie why?" "Oh no reason. Are you not going to Blake's party?" "No babe i'm sick I already told you." as I listen I slowly and quietly make my way twords the house until i'm right behind him. "Are you sure 'cause you seemed perfectly fine when you were kissing Katie." I say, scaring the life out of him. He turns around slowly, looking white as a ghost. I ended the call and glared at him silently. "You going to explain?" I ask full of fury twords him. "I didn't think you were going to make it and-" "And so you thought that you had to be seen with someone and if I couldn't make it you would just cheat on me to save your popularity? Real smooth Jason." "Baby it's not like that I wa-" "Don't 'Baby' me" I say. "I'll do whatever I want" he says voice raising. I look over and see him slowly lifting his palm. I felt fear creep over me and realised he was like a cobra about to strike. "Hit me and I swear I will tell everyone about your bed wetting problems and that you still sleep with a 'teddy' " I say with venom in my tone. "But I don't, nobody would belive you. You have always been nothing and you will never get anyone to listen to what you say. I have never loved you I was dared by some buddies to date you and now I don't have to anymore." He said, making it look so easy to say that without pain. Probably because it was. That's when I kicked him in the balls. "Good luck having a family when you grow up, if you ever grow up." I say, running as fast as I can to the car. I turned and saw him scrunch his face in pain and fall on in knees. Seconds later he was up and chasing me, dead on my trail. Luckily I had made it in the car before he could get me and we sped off to the closest pizza place.
